    Evening all,

Lots going on in the Fmess household atm so sorry for short posts. SFD today and spendy day yesterday. Today I had my birthday present from my sister and visited a spa for the day - it was amazing and just what I needed this week. Won't make SFD target this month and finances for next month are looking bleak :( Oh well, its only money.

    Anybody seem lilt?

Happy birthday fmess. Spa day rocks! I was thinking about lilt too and I've been wondering why I haven't seen any post from her recently. lilt we miss you. I hope everything's alright in the lilt household.

Bob Stevie Nicks was as good as ever, never seen Christine Mcvie live before such a talent accordion playing as well, incredibly hard instrument to play, I have tried in the past. Star of the show for me Lyndsey Buckingham tears rolling down my face everytime he took centre stage and I not usually an emotional person.

Bob the server just was very rude, took the order, my daughters drink arrived, my coffee didn't arrive until my meal turned up, no apology, banged down on the table and shouted at me 'do you want milk?' Had ordered it with milk. Never came back to see how our meals were, wasn't busy he was just busy chatting to the other servers. I wouldn't have complained but he was equally as rude to an old couple sat by us. My daughter worked in Disney and it took 3 months training to become a server, this country has alot to learn about customer service. Had a good chat with the manager as hate to get someone in trouble but he deserved it. Meals weren't great either, how can they call caramelised onions seasonal veg!!! I think that swung the free meals.

It really does sound an amazing show. He really was a beautiful man in his prime too I have to say.

That server does sound rude, pointlessly so. And yes onions are certainly not seasonal ;)

    *sneaks in sheepishly*

Sorry boys and girls. I have been reading on and off as time allows but RL took over.

Jellytot decided last Saturday morning to announce she needed the loo sans nappy. Ever since I have been in toilet training hell along with working and trying to balance some time to exercise, plus a flying visit from my sister & her family. She has skipped the potty entirely, which presents as many problems as it does solutions, so it is a testing time. Especially as you cannot leave her alone for a few minutes at a time, as she just *forgets* - nor can she tolerate anything at all clothes wise on her bottom half.

Today however was our first completely accident free day. She did amazingly and is very proud of herself. Now to work up to clothing... ;)

Other than that I have had next to no spend free days. Have spent a fortune and a half on groceries...

But I've lost 10.5lbs as at my last weigh in on Tuesday :j

Sending much love and thoughts to everyone. I am sorry I did so badly this month Apple - it has been no reflection on you or the fab challenge, just on my own need to think screw the cash flow currently, I need to focus on diet, exercise and home.

I shall be back if someone would be kind enough to add me into next months challenge!! I need to balance everything next month!!! xx

There are no failures, or being awarded the wooden spoon in the NST challenges, Lilty. Some months we can 'do better' than others; some months Real Life gets in the way and can derail us. However, you seem to have got a handle ont he ME TIME side of the challenge, so plenty of gold stars are on their way to you!

Fmess: :bdaycake:Happy Birthday! A spa day sounds wonderful.

Tog - well done on the budgetting and not spending - most impressive. Glad it allows you to start your new job with a peaceful heart. Great trouser-lengthening too. I love the quotes you find - thank you for posting them.

Bagged myself another NSD at last!

And found this quote from Craig Ballyntyne:

Be grateful for the love, support, honesty, challenges, ideas, and truth you give your dearest friends and that they give back to you. And recognize someone and make their day...People's hearts are crying out for real love in this world of false idol worship. Make their day today! ...BUT...Don’t get wrapped up in other people’s drama. Don’t worry about what other people are doing. Don't get caught up in idle gossip or celebrity worship. It doesn’t matter who’s dating who, who’s getting paid what, who's going to win the game or fight (that you're not in), or what the weather is like halfway across the country. Who cares? It doesn’t matter anyway. You cannot control that – so don’t waste your energy worrying about it or comparing your life to others. Stay strong and push on.

    Go turtles!

  • Hi all, managed to sneak in a NSD. Lost count how many NSD's I managed to achieve. Tomorrow will be big grocery day to set us off on the June challenge.

Another quote from a friend today, which we later found out is also one of Dave Ramsay's:

    "There is life after DEBT."

    Can't wait to get there.

Well spent money today food shop so over budget.

Went to local prom day, minimum spend and got tea out bought for me by son in law needed me and daughter out of house as his mates were arriving to watch the rugby so threw money at us to disappear.

Just got in visiting friends, one had heart problems and other's son readmitted to hospital. Knackered and just heard some shockingly sad news.

Tomorrow going to have a me day. Feel like one the samaritans today. Haven't seen my dog much all day, the !!!!! on heat who must have woken up everyone at 6am howling for a mate!

Glad Lilt has been found. Nice quote apple June I will try to get my own life ;-)
