Well, an NSD today at least! Feel pretty rubbish and hoping that this tight pain in my chest doesn't mean this cold is going to turn into bronchitis again (I've been hospitalised with it in the past). So I'm going to go wallow in the bath and hope the steam helps! Enjoy the sun turtles x

Lunnon town was a delight today! A stonking 20, 000+ steps, and I reckon dd did many, many more. We hit Regent's Park and it was doubtful we'd even make the zoo as there was just so much dd wanted to do in the park itself. But once lunch was consumed, off we trotted to see the animals. It was still a lot of money with the 2for1, but worth it. Dd loved so much of it and there were plenty of playing zones around the place. She especially liked the Splash Zone - brrr!

In the reviews of the place, someone had said that the coffee was expensive, at £2.20. They obviously don't live in Lunnon! Spends were my coffee, a Ca1ippo and 2 (worthless) drinks. Oops - and a carousel ride and some bouncy slide goes.

Am in awe of those of you doing triathlons - well done!:T

shyspender - are you still ok to do June?

Turtles! Sorry I have been slightly absent; bank holidays will do that to a soul! Apple, it sounds like you had a fab day :)MessyMare, hope you feel better soon - please go to hospital if you feel you need to, better there than really unwell at home.
NSD today and yesterday, LTW today and managed to fit a workout in as well. Pleased for those who have signed up to triathlons - I'd love to have a go but my body is less willing than my mind, sadly. I will be fit one day!
Two days until I get paid, so my month starts again on Thursday financially - hoping to have £50 left at the end of the month to put into savings account, which has pleased me greatly today. I'm getting really into this money saving lark :D
Bought my first house in 2014 - now, to be mortgage free! :D

Thank you Academia :) with only me working I don't dare take time off though. I'm like you- financially my month has already started but a huge amount of willpower sees me leaving the money there and not touching it :p

Huzzah - an NSD today :)

Feeling a bit melancholy as I heard one of my favourite writers, Tannith Lee, passed away this weekend.
Conversations with OH about making the most of my time and creativity. I'm doing a lot of work for other people now, but I'm feeling a bit lost about my own path. Tannith Lee wrote and published 90 novels. I haven't finished one yet!
    Keep reading books!

    Hiya Turtles

Back in the land of internet again, been at the OH's all weekend.

Hopefully the June challenge will be up tomorrow at some point. I've prepped it, just need to add the final bits to it.

Will update properly tomorrow too, but for now, it's time for shy to hit the hay!

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Thrifty - so long as you don't shout his other refrains you'll be ok.

Messy - take care that sounds very worrying.

Calling - meant to say how jealous I am of you going to see Fleetwood Mac. I bet they are wonderful live. Do report back!

Apple - £2.20 is cheap! I charge £2.40 for a flat white. But the £3 6oz cap has long lived in cafes of London. I would be sad to pay that much have to say. But it's not cheap providing good quality coffee these days with all the overheads that go with it. If you are ever in town again download London's best coffee App. It is worth every penny. Glad you had a nice day out.

Btw totes forgot to log my 19th day today! I may have no wages this coming month but you know I have completed the challenge!
