Thank you (: I will check these out! According to my calculations I should be able to hit pay out in the next few days just with the bare minimum, so hitting pay out early would be great. Especially as that's only £5, I will still have £115 after that. I know I could get there sooner if I just kept going and going until I hit £100 but someone has said they prefer lower payouts in case the account gets shut down or whatever which has previously happened to me on another survey site. It was a while back now, so can't remember what one but it has made me a bit jumpy now...

And thank you for popping up on my diary and looking through my ramblings (:
I too always get the £5 Agc too, just in case of problems! They soon add up, I started using it Dec 2012 and have had approx. £420 in Amazon gift cards

Well tonight didn't go to plan. In fact it went absolutely sh*t. Just spent the evening at the emergency vet. Walking down the road heading for the pub and some cat ran across the road, got hit by a car and then a dog grabbed it. The vet said they had to put it down, it had internal bleeding. He was obviously a domesticated cat, he had been groomed recently including claws done and was well fed. But no chip or collar so they can't even notify the owner. Went to the pub for a couple of drinks, really needed some. Haven't cried, need to keep it together to make sure everyone else was okay. I stayed with him until they took him away. From the moment we got him out the road until they put him to sleep I sat stroking his face and reassuring him he wasn't alone. I wasn't going to let the last thing he saw be that car or that dog. He was going to know someone cared. That someone loved him. Even if just for a minute I adored that cat. He held on. He fought to breath. He fought to stay alive. But there was too much damage. His ears were full of blood, his mouth was starting to fill with it. I knew he had to go, I just wish I could have saved him. The first thing I did when I got in was made a fuss of my own cat. I'm going to go on facebook now, I'm on a few pet selling groups around the area. Hopefully someone can find his owner. Someone can give them closure. Someone can tell them he wasn't alone. He didn't die in that road. I wouldn't let him. He went out with dignity. He went out with love.

I know that might "out" me but I don't really care - I have nothing super secret on here and anyone that cares doesn't matter and anyone that matters doesn't care

Spent all night snuggled up to my cat unable to sleep. Must have fallen asleep eventually because one minute it was 3am and the next it was 1pm. I was woken by my cat climbing all over me and making a fuss, he promptly pushed his way into my arms and purring and cuddling. Everytime I made that kiss noise he would lean his head forward so I was kissing his head between his ears. Now he's curled up by the laptop keeping an eye on me, not sure what I would do without him. I'm really not.

The reason I mentioned it may "out" me. Is that in a bid to find his owners I have shared what happened on every single page I'm on on facebook. Some are worldwide, some are for my area. It has been spread around. We are all trying to find the owners.

My plans for today have changed slightly obviously. I'm not going to be doing my bedroom or anything. I have a form that needs doing before tomorrow, other than that I plan to do some spreadsheets etc. Just stay on the laptop all day. I don't have the energy or the motivation to get up and do stuff. Not even sure I can bring myself to eat :/ x

  • Sending you lots of hugs, I tried to respond last night but my phone crapped out on me.

Take it easy today, make it a day for soothing and pampering yourself. I prescribe a hot bath/shower with the nicest stuff you have (I have special expensive bath/shower stuff for bad days).

The world won't come to an end if you don't get dressed today, if the cleaning doesn't get done today.

I know I'm going to go over my calorie goal. I've just had 4 slices of peanut butter toast and a milkshake, but I feel like I deserved some good old comfort food. I'm just glad I managed to eat something at last xxx

  • Sometimes it's more important to think in terms of nutrition than calories.

The penut butter has protein, the milkshake has calcium and vitamins and the bread has vitamins as well. So all in all, you may think it's just comfort food, but you've actually chosen very nutritious comfort food :)

I seem to be very good at choosing nutritional foods, it generally seems to be that it's the quantities I eat that are the issue xx
