Oh no sorry to hear about your Step Nan. Poor thing. A day to be a bit fed up is fine, we all need that sometimes. You do sound so positive though, it's really good. Take care. Bob
Thank you. While it's not good that she's in hospital again, I'm grateful that at least they already know what's wrong and she's on the ward and they can start treatment. It's one of those things that can kill if untreated but is very unlikely to once treatment begins.
I was away to bed by ten thirty last night, glad to get back into a routine instead of up until the wee hours and sleeping the day away. I did set an alarm for seven and another for eight, I hit stop and went back to sleep. But by a little after eight I was up and starting my day.
All animals have been fed and I made myself porridge with maple syrup. Feel rather sick as I'm not used to having breakfast, I've taken my pain medication and now just waiting for my food to go down and then I'm going to clean the kitchen. I definitely feel better for having a bit of a grumpy antisocial day.
I hope you're having a good day!No more making the same mistakes!

Hope you had a very merry Christmas! I had a lovely time and got spoiled rotten; my favourite gift being my step nan coming home! She's doing much better, she's even starting to be able to sit up comfortably and slowly move around the house without needing much assistance. It's great news and now we are just keeping everything crossed that she keeps recovering and doesn't have any more problems.
Today won't be a no spend day as it's payday and I have bills to pay and a few things I need in. I have been charged £79 for a year of amazon prime that I didn't request (I haven't used the account) and so I've contacted amazon who have checked and I haven't used the prime or my account so they have cancelled and refunded. I have to wait for that to hit my bank. I have been charged £7.99 for amazon prime on my other account that I actually use and I'm fine with that.
I'm going to join a few different debt challenges, including the make £10 a day challenge because by doing that I should be debt free before the end of the year without crippling myself which is great. Right now I'm having a lazy start to the day and coming up with a game plan. I also need to meal plan so I can head to asda and get the groceries I need.
I'm working on getting in shape and so the first step is no taxi to asda, I may need one back but I'm determined to try not to. My Dad has a couple of backpacks so I can borrow one. Yes it could be exhausting but it's downhill coming home and I don't have to be anywhere after so I can take as long as I need and spend all day recovering after. No more making the same mistakes!
