Good to see you posting again. You have made progress which is great. You can build on that for the new year. Keep going!

Thank you (: I'm definitely heading in the right direction. My internet isn't working right now, but that's been a blessing in disguise! I've spent all of today slaving away and now my living room and kitchen are almost clean, tidy and organised which is brilliant. I've given myself until next Wednesday to have the whole flat tidy and organised. The bathroom will only take an hour, two at the most. So that is plenty of time meaning I can take regular breaks to rest my back. The idea being that after Christmas I can start redecorating at long last!
I don't think I've hit my step goal on my Fitbit yet today, so I'm going to try and get a work out in later assuming my body allows it. I'm also going to get some paper and pen in a bit and sketch out a rough shopping list and housework chart. Then when I do it on the laptop I'm not starting from scratch or getting distracted etc. It's from my head, not what society is telling me to do. It will also give me the ability to play around with what needs doing when etc. For example rubbish is collected Friday here so doing a full litter tray scrub, emptying all bins would work best on a Thursday night...
I'll try and keep you updated (:No more making the same mistakes!

Managed another disappearing act of my own.
You have made so much progress this year, and it's great to see you so on it now in December rather than pushing it back to January!

Oops, I vanished again.
Life has been a bit hectic. I'm not hitting my step goal at the moment and budget has gone at the window but I'm staying positive. I've just moved out the flat and into a house so that's a little mental. I have no wifi so I'm only able to get online via my mobile which is eating up my allowance. But that's okay. I'm giving myself this month to get my stuff in order. Because next month I'm back on target.
I want to be debt free by this Christmas, not next Christmas. Which means I need to pay £250 (ish) per month towards debts.
I've decided to quit smoking. Although I'm not looking forward to that due to everything going on, it's time. I've had a year and a bit of self pity and moping and I'm sick of it. I've spoken to my doctors and we are going to try and go med free each month. Not fully but take my meds for a month and then see how long I can cope without them as I managed a week last month.
I'm £200 behind on tuition so they've suspended my account to do the course. Must message them once wifi is sorted and confirm that once I pay the £200 my course becomes active again. I only have a year left to complete it and I've barely started it! But they say you can complete it in 6 months if you push yourself, so I will!
My place is bigger so I can start finally sorting the office, also going to look at doing some free online courses. There are some business ones etc about that will help me when I start the business properly after my course.
I'm going to do a daily workout as well (:No more making the same mistakes!

Thank you. I'm glad to be back. Determined to write regularly on here and start setting goals and holding myself accountable again.
February Goals -
De-clutter and sell on eBay (30 items).
Enter every spend into my budget, no leaving it and having to guess or scroll through my online banking.
Get back on track with debts. I'm about £45 behind with repayments, so not too bad.
Meal plan and stick to a shopping list. Must get back to cooking from scratch and eating decent food again.
Make and stick to a cleaning rota.
Workout! No more making the same mistakes!

When I said I have moved out of my flat and into a house... It's more that I've moved out of the flat to temporarily stay with a friend until my house is ready. It's been a long wait but I should be in by the weekend. I can't wait!
I've got to call sky back tomorrow to get tv/wifi disconnected and moved to the new place. They said that'll take about two weeks to be completely set up. Ouch!
Obviously the move has added a few "debts" but I've decided not to count those as they will be paid back within a month or two.
My payments this month should push me to 18% and change repaid. I'm going to try and push it to 20%. The ultimate would be if I could hit 25%!!No more making the same mistakes!

Thank you for the yay!
It's been a touch hectic in the household; thankfully my wifi now works woo! And on that note I've been getting busy with the laptop. That actually sounds really wrong, whoops!
So I was updating my monthly budget, getting everything in order and decided I needed to update my debt repayment spreadsheet. It looked terrible compared to my other sheets, they're so put together and clever. So of course I tore it apart and rebuilt it. I now have a clever repayment spreadsheet.
Each sheet has that months debts, payments etc. The front page holds an overview. It tells me my start debt, current debt, has a chart and I've even set it up to calculate my estimated debt free date!
And this is where it all goes crazy. Due to moving costs etc I have actually undone all my hard work and now owe more than I did at the start by about £30. My estimated debt free date has shifted to June 2022 - although that is based off my average monthly repayments so it isn't an exact figure.
None the less I am going to hit it so much harder. I want to see that date drop. I want to be debt free by Christmas. So time to over haul my finances and I suppose that means I need to start getting back on here to hold myself accountable. No more making the same mistakes!

Sometimes you have to go back to go forwards. If the move is a good thing in the long term then the new Debt is a pain but won't hold you back for long. Well done and glad to see you posting." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I absolutely agree, I found it exhausting and cramped in the flat. It was always cold, my neighbours were noisy and the flat was prone to damp. Now I'm in a bigger place, my garden may be small but it's mine and I can do what I want with it. I'm really enjoying planning redecoration for each room and I'm allowed dogs. So the kittens are enjoying the space and I'm looking into getting a dog which will help with my anxiety and will encourage me to be active.
Obviously I won't get a dog just yet as I would rather get fully settled in first so they are coming into a settled home rather than a bomb site lol.
Todays to do list -
- Declutter kitchen
- Two/three loads of laundry
- Clean out fridge
- Meal plan
- Online grocery shop
- Make a housework schedule
- Work on kitchen redesign
But for now, going to have some cuddles on the sofa with my kittens which I don't have much choice in since they've fallen asleep on my feet lolNo more making the same mistakes!
