    Hi there NN

I have just read through your diary and been inspired by your organisation and determination. Thanks so much for that. :)

Also, I'm so glad you are still here and are getting the help you need to continue your recovery. It sounds very much like 2 steps forward, 3 steps back sometimes. Your perseverance is admirable and I hope everything goes well for you.

I cried when I read about your cat. :( You loved him so much and took such good care of him, he couldn't have asked for any more. Animals are such good companions when humans feel like a bit too much, eh?

All the best for the coming weeks and do keep us updated with how you're getting on.

I've just got all emotional about your message. Thank you, it really meant so much. I absolutely adored him and I'm feeling very lost without him. I've finally stopped waiting for him to come running up the hallway and jump into bed with me, but I still forget sometimes and will go up the pet aisle in the supermarket to pick a present for him.. Then it all comes flooding back.

I've had a rough month, I've been very ill and had some more emotional stuff going on. I ended up having a very bad splurge money wise and massively overspent. Which means next month will be spent playing catch up! Again. But I've just done my budget for the month and it's easily doable - assuming all money comes in on time etc.

It's very much two steps forward and three steps back sometimes, but I shall keep powering through. I'm really glad I've been able to inspire people, although I wouldn't say I'm all that admirable haha. Please drop by though! It's lovely to share in others journeys.

Thank you (: yes that's what I'm trying to do. Just gotta keep pushing myself! Quite pleased to see that despite not being great and being a bit behind with bills (only this month, have checked and I can catch up on them all next month) I have managed to get an additional 3% paid off my debt. But only a couple more months until I've finished paying for my course (although really need to knuckle down and complete it!) which gives me an additional £100 a month so I plan to throw that at my debt.

Todays I want to do list -
    1. I want to finally sort through the box in the hallway that is a jumble of items.
    2. I want to clean the kitchen and hallway, my back isn't too bad today so if I do it in short bursts I should be okay.
    3. I want to use the Out Of Milk app to log everything in my freezer and pantry, it won't be a quick task but it will mean I can meal plan and make a shopping list easily.
    4. I want to get the cross trainer set back up in mine.
    5. I want to use the cross trainer - I'm going to start C25K and hopefully finish it.

Wow yes I really disappeared for a while, didn't I? Sorry! I'm alive and well - hopefully at least. Waiting on some blood tests from the doctor.

    1. Box has been sorted through, loads of stuff gone and homes found for other things.
    2. Hallway has been sorted - it needs hoovering but other than that it's tidy and organised. Kitchen still requires some work. Living room is mostly tidy though, I can probably have it finished tomorrow if my body isn't too bad.
    3. I have not got a list of my pantry and freezer items. I must do this sometime soon but I'm not in a huge rush. After Christmas I plan to start using Abel and Cole (or similar). While it may not be the most money saving in some ways it will be good as I will regularly have fridge stuff. It will get me out of my comfort zone (making all the same stuff) and encourage me to use more veggies and less processed stuff.
    4. Cross trainer is set up in mine, I have been using it.
    5. I have started C25k, I'm restarting today though. Literally planning to get on the cross trainer shortly and do it. I have also set up the wii fit and I will be using that every evening.

I'm mostly on top of my Christmas shopping. A couple of things still to get, but should be all sorted by the end of the week. I'm planning to be even more organised next year though.

I've had my face to face assessment with ESA and been put in the support group, doctor has also increased my dose of antidepressants and though I am still having some issues I'm definitely in a better place. I am really pleased with the progress.

Also - I have two kittens now. They're absolutely adorable and personality wise they are the clone of the boy I lost which has really helped me to move forward. It will always hurt, I will always miss him but I'm no longer an emotional wreck if I see a picture or his urn. Right now they are snuggled up on my duvet (we are camped out on the sofa) taking a sleep. I managed to get some sleep earlier with them napping on me, my sleep is still broken but when they are near it's a little less broken. They do have their own personality though and are absolutely crazy. They aren't brother and sister. They are from different families with about a week between them. But they happened to bond while waiting for a home and I just couldn't bring myself to separate them.

All in all, things aren't too bad here right now. I'm staying positive and trying to keep busy.

  • Right, I am determined to be fully back on track. I want to get on here every day, it does help me clear my head. Also I do find the to do lists help. So best get todays list done.

    - Finish tidying the living room.
    - Do the hoovering.
    - Do C25k today.
    - Do an online grocery shop, I need fridge stuff.
    - Get the rubbish out the kitchen.
    - Get back on top of the dishes!
    - Clean fridge, microwave and oven.
    - Move dining table, I really want it set up ready for dinner time.
    - Sign up for freebies/samples etc.
    - Get back on top of reviews.
    - Evening wii fit work out!

So it will be a bloody busy day but it needs to be done. Anything that isn't tackled today will be added to tomorrows to do list, although hopefully I can tackle it all today.

So other than working out which will be done this evening it's only really kitchen tasks remaining and the hoovering. So I will tackle them later this evening/first thing tomorrow. So long as they are done before groceries arrive it's all good. I need to work out what I'm cooking for dinner tomorrow night, I quite fancy something with rice.

It's been a while since I did an update about my debts and I want to set my December goals.

-Work out 3-5 times per week.
-Be on target for my daily calorie goal every day, if I eat too much I will work it off that day.

    - Meal plan for December and January.
    -Update budget daily.
-Design and print a housework checklist to help keep me on track.

-Minimum debt repayments will leave me at 11.7% for December. I'm setting two goals, I want to get at least 12% but I will try and get as close to 15% as possible.

Things have been tight, I've ended up behind on regular bills and had to sort that out which has meant I've been stuck paying minimum payments and nothing extra. Currently the 9.8% I'm at is really bugging me, so I'm going to see what spare change I have by the weekend and try and get it to a nice whole 10%. It's only £1.68 that's needed, but I don't get paid until Wednesday so it's hard to know what money is spare and what money will have to be used for other things hence waiting until the weekend to be sure I have it spare.
