Well after this fiasco, I left a negative review on Trustpilot, MD tried to get them to remove it, TP emailed me asking for proof that I had placed an order so I sent them the email from MD saying tuff luck. My review has been reinstated and MD told off ;-)
My review is showing as 'reported to the Compliance team' but nobody fro TP has contacted me to request proof of purchase0 -
I've just recieved an email from Mighty Deals saying that they had sent me another code on 16th May, and that the ticket would be close. So I've just sent them an email back telling them that the code is invalid as stated in my 2nd ticket. Let's see how long it takes them to get back to me0

Anyone had any contact from the company today regarding refunds?
Or by some miracle has anyone actually had a refund?
Has anyone successfully unsubscribed? (by that I mean the proper unsubscribed not the pretend unsubscribed that mighty deals made up to thin down numbers)0 -

No refund yet, and my ticket (7 days old) is still "awaiting assignment to a support agent", but my unsubscribe does seem to have been successful finally as I haven't had any spam from them in a few days now.0 -
Still no refund or response from anyone at MD!0

An update on the situation. As promised when I clicked on the redeem code, they sent the voucher link a few days later, and with it printed out, managed to use it in Tesco yesterday with no problems. Might have taken a long time to get the deal, but an outlay of £5, I got 44p cashback from Topcashback and £10 off my shopping. Not sure whether I'd use MD again as it has been a long winded process, with the possibility at one stage of losing the £5 outlay.0

Collected my goods today and took them straight to customer services. They refunded the £12.50, sold them to me and redeemed the £10 gift voucher with no problem. At least I haven't lost anything at the moment. I still have the 2nd voucher which was bought legitimately under their T & C's which was received with a £nil balance on it. I will wait on Mighty Deals getting back to me about a refund and I will be un-subscribing, if and when they get this sorted.0 -
Just reported lack of refunds to bank and credit card company.
Mighty deals you are not keeping my money :mad:0 -
Mighty deals are mightily busy making sure all negative reviews on Trustpilot are being censored. There are also lots of extremely suspicious five star reviews suddenly springing up. The wording of them are almost like someone would write if they wanting to make their own company sound fantastic!
If they spent half as much time processing refunds rather than trying to salvage their reputation we might all be happy bunnies!0 -
