Hope everyone is able to get sorted. Off to delete Mightydeals account and block their emails.

Good luck with that. I've been unsubscribed for days by opting out via my account, and by clicking the link in every email they send, and still they keep coming...

Due to poor company reviews on Quidco and other review sites I am going to avoid this company.

You did the right thing. I will avoid them in future (once I have my money back).

I wonder if this technical problem with their payment gateway provider which is delaying our refunds is also preventing them from receiving any money as well???

It's all a load of bull. New payment system, yeah whatever. They're sitting on our money as long as possible to gain more interest. As someone else said, bet there is no problem receiving money.

You are lucky. I checked mine on line and one had £10, the other £nil. I tried the one with £10 at Tesco Direct and it said invalid code. I ordered goods at £12.50 anyway and then e-mailed them to get the £10 back. We shall see what happens.

Just had an E-mail from Tesco Direct. They refused. When I collect the goods I will return them immediately. That's another Company that gets my back up. With all their schemes, vouchers and promotions I constantly have issues with them.

Unfortunately I think this is the fault of MD rather than Tesco, if the credit hasn't been loaded properly. But yes do return the goods if you only purchased because of the £10 off - and keep holding out for MD to sort out the mess at their end.

Same email received here. It's just lie after lie.

its likely not a lie, their payment processor probably dropped them because of the amount of chargebacks they got, it doesn't take a lot of chargebacks in quick succession for the processors to shut the doors.

They'll also have all the funds in that gateway frozen until a certain length of time has passed, to cover further chargebacks, and will have no access to action refunds.

You're probably right - and that's the best post I've seen so far about Mighty Deals. The prospect of bringing Money Expert Ltd down by hitting its cashflow is very appealing.

Well after this fiasco, I left a negative review on Trustpilot, MD tried to get them to remove it, TP emailed me asking for proof that I had placed an order so I sent them the email from MD saying tuff luck. My review has been reinstated and MD told off ;-)
