I will be interested to see who is right.
It's a moot argument anyway seeing as those that don't like it can keep the old version. Just shows that some people like to complain for the sake of complaining!0 -

I only use an iPad and the new version is awful. I thought that maybe the new version was designed for PC users. On a tablet, it takes so much scrolling to read anything as its so spread out. The old version is compact and the colours make it easier to navigate.
The new version also looks like something from the 1980's, like its still a work in progress.0 -

I am definitely not a dinasaur but accidently I was logged into the new look site and found it really not to my taste at all.Luckily I have managed to get into the old style one which is far more user friendly I do hope we can keep with the old style one or I shall myself just move on somewhere else.I have been a member on here for eleven years and have seen things come and go along with members (sometimes sadly because of passing away)So please, please please martin or whomsoever is in charge keep our friendly site the way it is .if it ain't broke why fix it

Just click on the thread title and it will automatically take you to the first unread post. I don't think it was working earlier as its one of the bugs I emailed the forum team about but I've just tried it several times and it is working now.
No doesn't work if you're in the actual forum itself.
For example if you look at the list of all forums and it happens to be the latest post then clicking on it will take you to the first unrea post. Once you go into the actual board, eg the savings board you see all the posts with a green circle next to it denoting new posts. Clicking on the thread title just takes you to the first post and not the first unread post.0 -
