Just booked another two nights.

I am not going to mentioned where or accommodation as I am definitely the poor relationship this thread :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Done 42 so far, with Hawaii and Alaska already covered.

In 2016 might do a jaunt around the other 8 before Vegas

Plus I'll get in trouble as this is the overseas board and only one of my trips this year is out of this country (unless you include Wales then it becomes two :rotfl: )

I started in 1999 with Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Arizona and Utah but I have had a few years off due to illness

Generally speaking I was mostly in low budget motels when doing the road trips with nothing booked in advance, I would pick up a coupon book at a diner then see if there were any discounts in the area I was aiming for that day.

Lack of humidity makes it manageable, though if the wind gets up it feels like you are inside a fan oven...

Looks fab! I've barely touched the surface of the USA - though one of the two areas I have been to is Hawaii (Honolulu and Kauai).


Actually, I've spent today sneaking in an extra little trip for next year - will now be spending 4 nights in Amsterdam about 11 months from now Another first for me!
