Good progress! Made my bed and cleaned 2 bathrooms including floors, but not tiles. Steamer is upstairs so I may do those later. I even cleared out the shower waste _pale_
Just having lunch now and going to google some ideas for using my halogen oven - makes fab SW chips or wedges but I've not used it for an awful lot else.
WM finished so will get bedding out to dry after I've eaten.Bossymoo

No flying for me at all yesterday, unless you count finally getting around to booking the cat in for her annual jabs - only to find I'd left it too late and they can't now do a booster and instead have to start the course again.
Today's flying will mostly therefore be from yesterday's list:
Wednesday Bathrooms and office/study like places
Hoover the living room floor [again - that slug is in trouble when I finally find it!]
Clean the sinks and toilets including the pedestals front and back
Change the towels/bathmats for clean ones
15 minutes on your hottest spot / the clutter from the desk and give it a wipe [these are the same for me!]
Plus washing another batch of towels - the last batch from the pile that keeled over every time I prodded it last week.
I think I'll deserve a treat after that lot - any chance of a flapjack, Frizzle?Back after a very long break!0 -
Got back from work to a lovely surprise DD2 and babe waiting round ours. Little pudding looks well and was sleeping like an angel all the time he was here. DD is finding feeding hard work as he's a little guzzler so has made her really sore. Not sure what to advise as its so long since I was in that position. Can't believe that no one had shown her how to release yourself from a feeding babe once they'd finished she was having to wait for him to fall asleep I hadn't wanted to bombard with advice as I was sure with all the advisors and clinics etc I would be telling her what she already knew. No wonder the poor thing is so sore. Little finger used to break the seal was one of the best things I was ever shown when feeding. (Sorry I've that TMI for non feeding flyers.)
If any mums have any advice on easing soreness they wish to share please PM for me to pass it on to her.SPC~12 ot 124

CCP- the flapjacks were yummy! We have munched quite a few already and the fruit tea loaf got a thumbs up too so will bake that again either next week or the week after as I have all the ingrediants and they need using up!
Flying has took a diversion. Did all the bathrooms and then m and d turned up for lunch. She then offered to help with packing (she loves it!) so list of stuff has been brought down from the loft and I gave lacked 4 enormous boxes which stack beautifully in the corner of da2s room. My bedrooms an d the landing now look like a bomb has gone off as there is stuff everywhere. Anyway, rest if list
Wm x 1 just about to go in! Phew! 4 done today!

Shopping done
Just had a cuppa in the garden with a library book for HH, topping up my Vit D naturally.
Email to say I have been short-listed for an interview, no date yet but not for a couple of weeks, time to sort out something to wear and refresh my memory on excel and PP.
HH tidying/flying now before DS2 drives over to collect DS3 with me supervising. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Well done for getting so far.
I'm just back from uni early; 1-3pm student discovered after I sent her a "where are you?" text at 1.15 that she'd written Friday in her diary but Thursday in her email to me. Duh. At least I used the waiting time to write most of my pay claims. So looks like I'm working tomorrow.
Still, I managed to get a swim on my way home and have just opened greenhouse door to do a quick check, now I think I deserve a bit of something in the sun. Food and a book would do!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Morning!
Been up to town this morning but the uniform shop appears to have shut down  so no beavers sweater for the parade! Unless I can order one now first class postagehe won't have it for the parade. Rain forecast anyway...
Some bits purchased from home bargains then straight home. I've done my room, even zapped corners and behind furniture with the vac tools. Bedding in washer but need to remake with fresh linen.
Also vacced everywhere upstairs except the pit aka DD room. Just having a brew and will organise lunch then clean the bathrooms.
I was supposed to do downstairs today but never mind. Few cheap boxes have sorted DS lego explosion in the conservatory
Might look on eBay now for a sweater...
Try ordering from Glasgow Scout Shop - they're good. If you have Amazon Prime, you can order 1 from Amazon to be delivered Saturday just make sure you choose the correct supplier.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

best stuff ever invented.. and to try to make sure as much orf the areola is on his mouth as possible so hes not just sucking on the nipple.. if it hurts she needs to take him off and reposition, he may be a guzzler because he isn't latched properly so not getting enough.
Check out if there is a lactation consultant near her, or a breastfeeding support group where trained people can check her latch.. don't rely on the midwives their training is next to nothing sadly so they cant offer much in the way of practical solutions.
5 binbags of rubbish binned.. I had intended to vacuum but just flung and I am now exhausted and desperate for a nap..I am always tired! I'm sure this is not normal!
