    Saw a student for 2hrs.
Finished and handed in this month's pay claim.
Decluttered free coffee from garden centre as I wanted to catch mobile library on the way home and I was early!
Picked rhubarb and put it, and custard on to cook with the intention of making a Fool for pudding. Went upstairs to change. Phone rang - it was an enquiry about a private assessment, so of course by the time I'd got details and told her the cost and procedure, the cooking was not looking in a good state. Salvaged rhubarb, added some frozen cherries from last year and made pudding so hope it does't taste too burnt.
Went to clean church with neighbour.
Got home and sorted out the flowers I'd done for last weekend, which involved emptying and washing the compost bin.
Did some washing up and put burnt pans to soak!
Emailed details to prospective student; mum rang back to make firm booking.
Just sat with Mr N in conservatory listing what we need to take in the way of food and household stuff next week. Also listing things like RSPB card, Wildfowl Trust card, RHS card etc. We've almost planned what to do each day! Off to supermarket now.

This eve I must do a bit more of my course; it's the end of the first week and although I'm not really behind, I need to catch up.
Then I suspect it's an evening of Young Dancer competition followed by I-can't-remember-who in a travel show we like. Train journeys?

this weekend I need to start sorting out what is needed for the tender for the work I'm after.
I also need to get as many things out of the greenhouse as possible, and ask my neighbour if she'll do watering duty while we're away.
I'm most likely going to France or Belgium for a few days with my brother on a motorbike in June, so we need to get a few ideas together.
Then there is always housework.............although it's not too bad; just need a good vacuum before we go away.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

I echo all that Lynne said above.

Morning flyladies, up at silly o'clock even at the weekend. Today I plan to walk the dogs, plant seeds and will spend the afternoon at the village sports club and then dinner out with them. First of three washloads is in the machine and I need to defrost one of the freezers today.

I think the house opposite ours has been abandoned yesterday. Will probably need to phone the HA.

    Have a great day everyone.

Morning all! Weekend flyer reporting for duty!
    Well!
Work plans for next year have changedTWICE this week - decision I Thought had been made has been altered so current state is I am waiting untilMUCH nearer the time before even beginning to assume/plan.
Likewise the thing I was told wOULD be happening last Friday, namely me accompanying a week-long residential may also be subject to change and it might not now be me. I Am gutted as its to a place I have never been and I rather fancied going, not least because I doubt I'll get a holiday this year! and I had already arranged where I was parking the car as I don't want to leave it where we park for 5days and nights.
Anyhow the plan is to start with the kitchen and bathroom.

Hope you are all well. Had a busy week. Mon and ties I worked on my assignment. Wednesday I helped hubby box in some pipes in hallway, Thursday we attempted and changed mind about a dado in hallway lol. Friday we spent an hour in wall paper Isle of b and q and bought materials to make new gates and got 1 finished. Amongst that I worked every dinner time, mostly kept up with washing and housework and dyed my hair lol.

Wallpaper wise we are struggling, we want different paper top and bottom and a border on and we struggling to find ones we like argh

YL how old is your DS? does he have osgood schlatters? Mine do but we have always been able to manage it enough for them to play cricket or the world would end.

Yes he does, he is 14 so just that age. I knew yours were cricketers too, but didnt know they suffered. Trouble is he plays football all winter for school and a local club, then cricket all summer, again for two teams. Last year he was cricket training for 3 hours a week and sometimes playing two matches. Oh and then there is a bit of tennis and basketball too. I want him to keep playing sport but I think he needs to do less while he is growing so much.

I am online shopping for clothes for the other DS as he is growing madly and needs everything. He hates shopping so I thought I would just buy a load of stuff then send back what he doesnt like/doesnt fit. This is proving to be costly though.

Then I intend to potter. Need to get washing out before it rains!

I'm not sure what a chuffed buffer is either bossy.
Glad the jumper arrived in good time - happy badge sewing on session;)
Dusty thanks for the name of the product you use, I'm tempted to try it myself as my iron is always low, I was told to stop attending blood doaning because of that. My mum has under active thyroid so I aware that is a family thing as my sister is also on a watch list as hers is being monitored

Mils conifer was successfully lopped, logs taken round friend with wood burner, and the garden recycling bin filled, with another pile wanting to go in once it's emptied. Didn't take as long as we thought it would and with the help of me holding the guide rope while DH cut it fell cleanly on the lawn rather than over the fence:D

First load of washig dried and in, another load about to go out.
Going to do some more knitting now.
