I did my online renewal on 1st May, had the red line on form, i have rang twice to check if i completed everything ok and they said yes we just have waiting times of upto 8 weeks....im now worried as its 8 weeks this week and have had nothing, not award notice, no change in payments, no letters asking for extra information?? Has anyone else heard back from them after they have asked for nothing else??Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0

Some renewals have to be issued manually, for different reasons.
I would be concerned that a letter for info has been lost in the post.
You are allowed to chase HMRC after 8 weeks.
I got a letter from Concentrix in May checking childcareand its all been sorted/.
But if you ring HMRC they should be able to tell you a deadline when your file is finalised.
Some renewals are done within 2 weeks. Maybe they are doing their own investigations into your claim0 -
I filled mine in online on 1st of June but still heard nothing, however i did have to send of info to Concentrix so that might be why in my case. I'm sure it came though quicker last year. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Your renewal will not be finalised till Concentrix have closed their case.

They must be doing back ground checks on yours there.
or it might mean it has to be done manually by a person rather than just a system renewal!0 -
Lots of people worried about the RED LINE on the Tax Credit Renewal paperwork! It’s nothing to be concerned about… don’t think you are about to be put under investagation!
The red line is only on the new style renewals that are set to AUTO RENEW. If you have an auto renewal it should have a code on the bottom left: TC603R. Strangely, the paperwork also asks you to reply quickly, despite you being on auto renewal! So you do still have to phone/go online. You used to be able to identify auto-renewals by the envelope colour (buff or white)… The red line is HM Revenue & Customs big new idea for 2015 and probably cost tax payers several million pounds to implement!
Hope that helps0 -

The purpose of an auto renewal is that you don't need to reply unless anything is incorrect.
You cannot receive an auto renewal but need to reply.
I had auto renewal you don't need to do anything unless something is incorrect.0 -
Mine was auto renewal too, it asked two questions; was my income less than xx and would it next yr be less than yy
If no to both I didn't need to do anything and it would auto-renewBossymoo
