Second agent came today, charging me a fixed fee and 0 week tie in which is good. However, the initial advert has just gone on rightmove and it is shocking. The pictures are awful, very dark and only show parts of the room and there isn't even a pic of my master bedroom. It also says I'm in a cul-de-sac which isn't true. I'm so fed up0

I'm back from a 2 week MSE/computer/work break and in that time we've accepted an offer on the house
So pleased, didn't think it would ever happen. Heading over to waiting to exchange board now (via mortgage application board I think).
Good luck to everyone still waiting.Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)
Loan 1 £1787
Loan 2 £1683
Total £8601 Was £393020 -
In the current supply starved market this thread should be completely redundant... the only houses that aren't selling quickly are either the very shabby houses in undesirable areas or the stupidly overpriced houses put on the market by deluded vendors/kite flyers.0

I don't quite agree with the statement after receiving an asking price offer and another offer £2k shy of asking price this weekend.
My only task is to decide which offer to accept! :beer:0 -

Unless you're saying that you're house is either a tatty house in an undesirable area or stupidly overpriced?0 -
Jacko - The only thing that should be completely redundant is your post. You need to realise that the UK consists of more than one saturated London/South East market and there are many other areas in which the market is simply not as buoyant.
As a result of this some of us are on this thread for support as we go through the process of waiting for a buyer to come.
I dont quite uderstand what the purpose of your post was or what help it actually offered anyone, but I would suggest you understand that there is local housing markets within regions and that in fact not everyone on this is thread is "deluded" or a "kite flyer".Saving for our next step up the property ladder0 -
I can assure you Youngbaker I'm not referring to London and the South East!
The areas I'm familiar with are Derbyshire and North Wales, which, although these areas certainly aren't buoyant a sensibly priced house will still sell reasonably quickly... the only houses that do hang around on the market are the ones I've already described.
Anybody who has there house on the market for a sensible, realistic price should have no reason at all to seek help or support from this thread.0 -
We've been on RM now for about 3 weeks. 2 viewings - one couple who assured the EA that they realised there was no off road parking and it wasn't an issue. Feedback post viewing? We have three vehicles, one of which is a work van that needs to be kept secure overnight! GRRRRRR!
2nd viewing, more mature (in ever sense of the word) couple and seemed very keen, but were moving into the area and had 3 others they viewed...one wasn't on a main road as we are and so they offered on that. :-(
Hoping all the bad weather doesn't hamper us. We are moving forward with our purchase (albeit v slowly) and having the sale would definitely help my stress levels.0
