Mine was within the first 7 days of the listing going live.0 -
We had no viewings for the first month. Then I dropped the price by £10k to something I felt was more realistic. Since then (in a month) we have had nine viewings, one second viewing, one offer (later withdrawn), another second viewing lined up and someone who said he was going to offer but hasn't as yet (viewed on Friday).(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Thanks
I know it obviously isn't a standard question and depends on a lot of factors and the local market etc. but good to have an idea.
We definitely have it priced right (£5k under home report value and the lower end of the same price which the same houses have sold for lately). Just a waiting game!Saving for our next step up the property ladder0 -
It was 2 weeks until I had my first viewing. I then had one a week for the next 3 weeks and sold. We got 6 or 7 weeks down the line and our chain broke.
We then went back on the market and I got 4 or 5 viewings on the first weekend and received an offer which was then withdrawn. I then had no viewings for 2-3 weeks. I then had another viewing on the weekend who offered on Tuesday and then withdrew on Wednesday due to lack of funds! I'm back on the market today.
Got another estate agent coming round tomorrow to go duel agency.
It's certainly a journey!0 -

It's been valued at £66k on the Home Report and is on for O/O £59k but still no interest. Looks like I'll be stuck here for a long time.
Here's the link if anyone wants to buy it haha

"Fixed Price" won't appeal to many, suggests you are not open to negotiations- which buyers like to do.
I would have marketed at £64,995 with the aim to achieve £58k+0 -

I think we need to get a little patience in our life... Ours went online on Friday afternoon and I'm gutted we haven't had anything today :rotfl:Surely people were queuing out the EA this morning to make an appointment?!
Price is key, as well is the next 3 weeks. You will know exactly here you stand. Hopefully agent hasn't missed the key window of opportunity in first few weeks.
With so much information online, the longer a property is on the market, the more questions are asked.
Price normally the reason behind a house not generating viewings/offers!
Good Luck. (We last sold in October, 2013. Sold 3rd viewing. Priced correctly.)0 -

Hoping for an offer soon from either them or the guy buying obo his mother. Neither has a house to sell and the man's is a cash sale.
Everything crossed!!
:T:T:T:TWOOHOO:beer::beer::beer::beer:
We have an offer from the young couple, higher than the last one we received, they have been checked out by the EA and are proceedable, have mortgage in place, FTBs, so no chain at either end. We have instructed solicitors this morning.
Will now sign off here and go to the 'Waiting to Exchange' thread :rotfl::rotfl:
Good luck everyone, I'm sure those offers will come in soon .(AKA HRH_MUngo)
