Five years ago this coming October, we found this house. We had nothing to sell as we had sold up and moved in with my daughter for a few months. The sellers here wanted a quick move. We actually moved in here on 21st December, in the snow. Our stuff was coming from storage in Surrey and we were not sure if it would get here. But it did. We had arranged for the heating etc. to be left on and the family turned up that evening and remarked how it looked as if we had always lived there. Christmas tree and decorations up, the bed made and we had a great Christmas that year.
Do you mind me asking if you stayed in Surrey or moved away, my husband wants us to move to the coast but I'm a bit concerned about leaving Surrey.0 -
Melaniep so sorry. Xxx0

Just gutted and back to square 1 :-(
How disappointing for you. It is that sort of thing that put you off moving at all.0 -

We had viewers this morning. They seemed very keen and nice enough. They only stayed 20 minutes before going off to their next appointment. Got a call from agent later on to say they have offered almost the asking price. Being only a couple of days since a similar thing happened only for them to retract their offer the next morning, I can't seem to get too enthusiastic. Is it possible to view once, for twenty minutes then offer the best part of half a million pounds? I think I am losing confidence here.0

That's gutting. I hope you find another buyer soon.
I'm trying to find my second buyer. We were supposed to exchange last week but the first buyer I the chain pulled out two weeks ago. My vendor has given me until Friday to find another buyer.
I've got Another viewing at 1pm. I racking my brain to think what I can do to further improve my house before then to make it more favourable!0 -

You can only take it at face value, but don't take it off the market 'til they have booked their survey maybe?0 -
Got a viewing in 10 minutes. I actually feel nervous. I've not felt nervous with any of the others!0
