The male half of our 'young couple' came this lunchtime with his dad. I think another offer might be in the offing!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

I am sick of waiting to hear if our 2nd viewers want to make an offer. I am SO over this viewing carry on. Why do people take so long to update each other? Although I am extremely impatient.Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)
Loan 1 £1787
Loan 2 £1683
Total £8601 Was £393020 -

Not heard anything from our first viewer on Monday but they did pop back a couple of times since just to look at the outside so still hopeful. They had asked if we were open to offers when they came round and Mrs Indout said yes but close ones as it had only been on market 2 days.
Got another viewing for Saturday - We are on holiday but daughter is moving back in to our house for the week so will show them round.
We have only sold one house before back in 1989 and paper came out at 3.30 house sold at 4.45 so not looking forward to this buyers market at all.Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0 -

Me neither!!
I just want to sell the house, get the money in the bank and stop paying bills for 2 houses and get on with my life0 -
I have bought and sold a few houses over the years and met some characters but what happened yesterday evening was the strangest thing I have seen. A young couple came to view ours with the agent. The woman had "fallen in love" with the house just by viewing it online. They were so excited and absolutely loved the house when they came, to the extent that they put an offer on of just under the asking price, there and then. They were almost in tears they were so happy. That was around 5.30pm. At nine o'clock this morning I got a call from the agent to say that they retracted the offer as they had seen something else they liked better when they left our house. I think we are well out of that one!!0

Well, the young couple made an offer, but it was WAY below the first one (which in itself was a low offer). Think the dad had something to do with it. Also it appears they are having difficulty getting a mortgage, so will have to sell their flat.
Tomorrow we are going to ask the agent to try to push the first buyer to offer a little higher, but not to lose him, and we will accept his offer subject to him getting a mortgage.
Getting a bit frit now.It's nerve-wracking!
