Our last viewers liked it but said they want to negotiate on price but haven't made an offer?! Random. also they want to secure jobs before moving in. The latter is up to them to achieve and take the risk. I am not waiting for them to get a job before we agree a date - how long is a piece of string.

ETA: how on earth will they get a mortgage without jobs....they both are relocating and want jobs in the new area....mortgage companies won't like that will they?

    Hello

I am now waiting for my second buyer. We were due to exchange last week but the buyer at the bottom of a 7 link chain dropped out. I am number 4 in the chain. Number 2, 3 and myself have been back on the market for a week. I've had 5 viewings and one offer which unfortunately withdrew. My seller has thankfully agreed to hold the property for a couple of weeks until we can recover the chain. Fingers crossed someone puts an offer in on one of the three houses this week!

Ours went on internet on Saturday afternoon after they took pictures Saturday morning.
We have our first viewing today at 14.30 so fingers crossed. we need to move pretty quick as the bungalow we are after will not take it off the market until we have a buyer even though they have accepted our offer.

Another waste of time viewing - even though they really liked it, turns out they aren't in a position to make an offer - what's the point in viewing if you're not actually ready to do anything - complete waste of my time. I wish people would understand how frustrating it is as a seller to get everything tip top for their 30 minute wander round to then be told, oh actually, we're not ready to move yet but we will be in touch once we are. SO annoying.

We put ten person hours into presenting our house and have heard nothing yet. The viewing was yesterday.

I've told our agents (who do very little for their money so far!) to assess people before getting in touch. We do our own viewings and each one we've put everything in to. I feel your pain!

I *stupidly* signed their standard contract which contracted me to 20 weeks with them sole agency :( That is early November time frame for me.
