After a tense week of being back on the market, our buyers buyer has found a new buyer, so our collapsed chain is back on. Now we have to wait for the new buyer to catch up with the rest of the chain (were are all ready to exchange!).

  • The people who viewed yesterday LOVED the house. Unfortunately they have not yet got finance in place and may have to sell their current flat.. Hopefully they will soon be sorted and then they will make an offer :)

This waiting around for a buyer is a right royal pain in the backside.

Just think we all have the long process of completing the sale to go yet once we get an offer and accept it, oh my it feels like such a long way to go yet.
No wonder folk get so stressed out with this!!

Luckily I'm bald, if not I reckon I would be losing all my hair in the process lol

Anyway, another viewing booked in for Monday next week.

Quick update on my situation, we've had 2 viewings so far, both liked the property but no 2nd viewings booked in, no offers. We then had the unfortunate news that next door had fallen through and the flat was going back on the market, £12k cheaper than mine! Theirs is less 'done' than ours, but it wouldn't take £12k to get it to the same standard. Boo.
Anyway, fast forward 3 days and theirs has a SOLD sign back on it, not quite sure what happened, but thats good news for them, and us!
So, we have our third viewing booked for tomorrow, and another on Weds. Been on the market for 5 weeks now. Fingers crossed we have someone fall in love with it this week!!
