Mobiles.co.uk, can they be trusted?

Carphone Warehouse. You should have sent the LBA to their registered head office and could have saved the recorded delivery cost.
The last time I sent one to them it went to:-
Carphone Warehouse Limited,
T/A Mobiles.co.uk,
1, Portal Way,
London, W3 6RS.
From memory I think I only got as far as issuing once - the other times they finally took notice and did what they should have done in the first place. I would point out that my cases were very clear-cut - I could prove they owed me money (cashback) and had no justification for not paying. Your case is not the same; many manufacturers and dealers appear to fall back on abuse of the phone rather than an inherent fault and a distorted case may well be a very grey area.0 -
Have you never tried contacting Sony customer services? I bought my mobile from mobiles.co.uk - and after 18 months it completely died (from a known issue affecting that model). I eventually sorted it out by contacting LG, who the warranty for the device was with.0

Within the first 6 months of sale, it is the retailers responsibility to prove the goods conformed to contract, not the buyers responsibility to prove it did not, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.0

Your contract is with the retailer not the manufacturer.ringo_24601 wrote: »Have you never tried contacting Sony customer services? Where did they say they paid for the phone with a credit card?
That's assuming their paid anything (directly) for the phone at all.Comeback through creditcard provider? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Thanks
What kind of deal?
I've bought from them a few times on cashback deals and you need to track the dates and follow the instructions. I am convinced a lot of people never bother. I've always been paid.
If it isn't a cashback deal they may well be little different from buying anywhere else.0 -
There's a recent thread that answers your question mckendry. Not had an issue with them.0
