Told him today I would be unavailable tonight due to my spending the evening with my old (imaginary) friend and we agreed to make contact tomorrow. But just received a text asking how I am doing... :wall:

He just can't lay off.

Discussion seriously needed. I'd find that so annoying and bordeline rude tbh. Maybe he's expecting you to say that you're terribly bored as you're only with a "friend" and not him :rotfl:

He certainly doesn't seem to think if you are with someone it would be rather rude to spend time texting anyone one else. But of course that would be poor manners.
However, you won't be able to claim you were too busy with your friend to reply...

Tomorrow I'll come clean that she didn't turn up.
But I didn't tell him as I needed space.
And the fact that he was still trying to get my attention even though he thought I was with someone is a prime example of why I need to ratchet things down a bit.:(
