Thats interesting. I'd never considered insurance with barclays before, but i did a home insurance test run application and it ended up cheaper than where we are anyway, but its not due for a few months yet.

So i'm going to be moving that to barclays. I guess their plan is working and were all quids in.

Barclays were the cheapest last year for me, but the renewal was twice the price, so I've gone with somebody else this year. It's always worth checking though :)

Just noticed I was credited with £12 rewards, with a £3 fee taken from the mortgage current account. (was a Woolwich mortgage)

    But...
I have no direct debits, and no £800 going in - it is all but dormant.
The account was setup a a stipulation of getting the mortgage.

    hi,
as I fulfil the criteria anyway last night I signed up for "Blue".

    this morning on online banking:

    should it be showing twice?

when I click on either "Barclays blue rewards" or "access my rewards" I get:

I did get an error initially last night so clicked on "join blue" a second time. its a joint account.

any advice from people who did this a month ago?

Anyone had any luck of automating the withdrawl of the blue rewards?
Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.

If I leave my rewards in the "wallet" until next year...
... Can I subsequently avoid paying any tax when the new tax free savings comes into play?

Although will concede , though don't actually know , but would have thought the answer is no. You have been given it in this financial year , so the tax liability would be for this year.

    Hi,
Has anyone had their £5 Mortgage reward this month?
Mine seems to be missing. I've got the £7 loyalty reward, but not the extra £5 for the mortgage.

    Thanks.

Has anyone got a joint mortgage and done this? We seem to have only recieved £2.50 each for the mortgage. Is this correct? I cant find anything about it in the T&C.

I'd be really excited to see a Lloyds Gold Account debit card (not just the picture on their website). I'm sure many of us would be.

i don't think there is such a thing, is there? and you mean the 'What's in your wallet/purse' thread.. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/878997
