Will having 2 Tesco direct debits fulfil the requirements? I know it states 2 different direct debits and other people have said that they have managed to get away with this for Lloyds, BOS and Halifax which also state the same thing. I have 3 separate Tesco Internet Savers so they would be going into different accounts.
I questioned Barclays in January for my sister and they said that if it is the same company i.e. Tesco then NO this would not fulfil the requirements, so just wondered if anyone has been successful?
It works for me. Maybe the Barclay advisor thought that you meant one DD set up to pull twice a month.0 -
Works for me too, two DD to tescos and the fee and then I use the reward payment to subsidise the payment for next month.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. I know Barclays T&C's used to say different DD's would fulfil the 2 DD payments and I have been using Tesco's now for the last year. Though obviously from April this won't be possible.
I am just wondering if anyone has had success with using the same DD to claim 2 payments a month, as I have been able to move a PO DD over and have read that some people are going to use this method for Co-op.
I can't see anywhere on Barclays website like before where it states different DD anymore, just 2 DD payments?0
