Received the £7, have been charged the fee, but, as yet I have paid no DD`s as only one set up for payment, other DD is is in the process of being set up!!

I think the system has been set up with a grace period so the first Blue Reward will be paid regardless at the same time the first fee is taken to give you chance to set up the direct debits so it's likely the first review of whether the conditions have been met in the previous month will be after the first full month of having Blue Rewards (similar to how Club Lloyds pays interest in the first month regardless of whether direct debits have paid out).

When I looked this morning, the £3 had gone out and the £7 in - just checked again, and now the mortgage £5 has arrived as well :)

I wondered if there might be a grace period and that's why I hastily setup my two DD mandates on 28 April, ie the day on which I joined Blue Rewards. Though neither DD mandate is set to pay until later this month I have received the £7 reward. I reckon Barclays must have considered there'd be a huge amount of phone calls to their call centre if they'd not paid the reward.

I've noticed that they have taken the £3 monthly fee now.

Mine have been done separately. The transactions show as:
    Mortgage Reward CB £5.00 credit
    Loyalty Reward CB £7.00 credit

    Question to both:

Was this an existing mortgage or did you take it out/re-mortgage since you registered for Blue?

Can you get a mortgage that quick?

Received the £7 this morning; with the £3 fee leaving as well; was nice suprise as although I got the DD's set up on the account neither had paid out last month.

I'm guessing as others have said there must be a grace period for the first month; which is fine with me :D.

I applied today after 00:15 and had £5 credited in the morning.
Are they not crediting the rewards for the previous month now?

Shambles looks like a more plausible explanation to me rather then generosity.

Did you not get the £7 loyalty reward?

I think it's more than likely they are, but you get the Reward(s) regardless until you've had Blue Rewards for a full month.

    No (yet?).

What do you mean? I've had BR just just for a few hours.
