I was walking home through London for about 10 mins this evening (yesterday!) and got absolutely soaked
I suppose as long as it isn't too cold I'm not going to complain.
Where I'm originally from we only knew it was the summer because the rain got lovely and warm!
(Mind you where you last lived you'll know what I'm talking about.)

I think, overall, I'd feel a bit confined in that though -

I open the lid but unfortunately I cannot now lift the kettle to and from the taps, so need to fill in situ...and then it is backwards! I've got used to doing it now and know how much to put in.
Sounds sensible to me. If you can use the item you eventually want to fill with boiling water, to fill the kettle, you'vegot the perfect amount!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Thanks for the kind thoughts 're job everyone.
I don't like Christmas jumpers v much, so my concession is to wear a nice Scandinavian one instead. Congrats to viva and gen.
As regards visiting parents I do that as regularly as possible, as should we all. Wish the weatgher here in SW London would perk up a bit. They say it's warm but that counts for zilch as it rains a perpetual drizzle.
I might settle for cold if I could see a bit of blue sky
We're usually on holiday now as I can't bear the darkness. SIL arrives tomorrow from Canada, hence we are not, but I'm not coping well at all. I know it sounds strange, but white noise soundtrack has started in my head and I'm struggling to think through it.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Today is the day I pick Josh up from uni.....and also the day where we will find ourselves going to the cinema at a really silly time of night.
Not a huge Star Wars fan but the boys both want to go although I have threatened to fall asleep during the showing...I'm more of a Star Trek fan.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Yesterday was so dark and bleak it was depressing.
The soundtrack going around my head is one of directions to Northampton and back...yes I do have a sat nav in the car but I still have to memorise the route for my own sanityWe made it! Ooh, how lovely.. wrong lyrics clearly, but the song The Boys Are Back in Town started playing in my head when I read the first bit.
I prefer Star Trek too. Though that is based on the fact that I've not seen a single Star Wars film. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
