I am the same. Always changing to the main site rather than struggle with the mobile site. I guess it must be my age, as I also prefer mobile phones with qwerty keyboards to touch screen and a laptop to a tablet. I am already worried about how I will cope when my phone dies. Will I be forced to use old technology to get the functionality I prefer, because the manufacturers have decided that one size fits all? The only brand that gives you touch screen and keyboard is Blackberry, which are tiny, or my current phone, Motorola Droid Verizon. Anyone heard of anything decent coming up?
Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.

Owed at the end of -
    02/19 - £78,400. 04/19 - £85,000. 05/19 - £83,300. 06/19 - £78,900.
    07/19 - £77,500. 08/19 - £76,000.

I will Say I prefer a keyboard and have kept my netbook (remember those) and plan to never replace it with a tablet.

As for websites, my main/mobile site are one in the same, all I have is a custom navigation menu for smaller screens and the whole site is has been designed to be responsive.

The Mirage was probably the most exciting thing on the Strip.

Waiting for the radiotherapist. Bored and tense.

    Saw the radiotherapist. No problems.

Much better thanks. Am on my way in to work.

We had some terrible storms last night and the trains aren't running too well so the journey is slow. Never mind, I've got a seat.

How do people browse websites using their phones? The screen is too small, and fingers are too big. There's a world of difference between using a phone and a tablet.

I don't buy stuff using my tablet only because the tablet browser lacks auto fill. My desktop browser fills forms in for me, so it saves much time and is more accurate.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I am on a tablet at the moment. Although my laptop screen is landscape, I quite often hold my tablet portrait as I find it easier.

When I use my phone, I hold it landscape. Although the type is a bit smaller, there's not a lot if difference between that landscape and this portrait, though you have more data showing on a tablet.

When surfing on a phone, the mobile content can be easier to read.

I don't know many people for whom a phone would be their main source of surfing though, it's just useful for out and about surfing, such as looking up where to buy something.

How amazing though... It was 25 years ago yesterday that I first met Dr Tifosi. Back then, we only had landlines. It's amazing how much has changed since.

Out of interest, how do other people hold their tablets? Mine is a similar size to a book, so I probably hold it like one out of habit.

Re tyres... keep meaning to mention due to Lydia's sig. Had two new tyres this week. Had plenty of tread, but had a fairly spectacular puncture as the side wall just split. It turns out that tyres have a recommended shelf life which mine had exceeded. Only an issue for people driving older cars, but thought I should mention. Fortunately mine went pop while turning a corner at v low speed. Shame they don't pick this up on MOT. I still had 5mm tread so thought they were ok.
