Yes, I think I will. I am waiting for the schedule for Fir's events so I can book with those in mind, fitting round them, I will get him to chase them tomorrow. He has gone to London now, but he will be back for a holiday for a good couple of weeks it looks like from hopefully midweek :T. :j:beer:

Although its an extra expense and indulgence it will stop me feeling I have gone all that way to do nothing I wasn't doing at home ( reading, surfing net) and the journey etc might be challenging so having an enforced 'sedentary' activity is a good plan.

I think I just killed a "herb" with my weeder tool. It was green and at the edge of the garden, so that means it's a weed. Everything's a weed when you don't know one thing from another.

So I hacked it...it was quite strong. It was green and looked a bit like a smaller version of a stinging nettle....and I was hit by this very strong "nice smell". So I picked it up and sniffed...couldn't work it out. I now think it was lemony.

So what's green, grows to about 4-5" high, looks a bit like a small stinging nettle...and smells lemony?

Lemon balm/melissa? ( grows taller but mine is only that tall ATM)

That looks like it. Or, I mean, the photos on Google do not look so dissimilar to it that I can say "no". I've probably killed it forever though :)

It looks a bit like some photos, there are photos on Google that don't look like it.

It's "all green stuff" outside there, to me. All green stuff. No idea what any of it is except: grass, moss, ivy, dandelion leaves. After that all green stuff is a mystery to me.

No reason it shouldn't be as you don't like it. Ironically, if it were not for bugs and mud, your eye for detail and research would make you a fine plants woman I bet. :)

OH always like to (over) use the weed killer, problem is we usually end up with no grass :( I think an expert would condemn our lawn as mainly weed, whereas I am happy that it is mainly green and mainly leaf bladey.

Ok, so I might need a swimming costume after all. Now I might I cannot decide whether I still like it. Retro might just look dowdy on a fat body.

    Opinions?
