My Driving instructor is going to provide me with a letter confirming I have had lessons and meet the standard for driving. Both he and my GP think there has been a mistake. Physio will provide further evidence of my left(weak) and rightside(normal ) function. It is my right side that is needed for driving.

I have evidence of an automatic car and of having the adaptations ( invoice) .

Driving assessment centre still to ring back.

Going to send this in and see what happens, Will apply for provisional as nothing to lose.

Sue it is hard post stroke to have insight into your own deficits. It is why I have relied on independent opinion to assure me before getting behind the wheel.

It certainly is, especially when combined with male pride which is what my dad was suffering a little from.

Pre stroke, he would never have dreamed of driving when he was not safe to do so, post stroke, his decision making, impulsiveness and emotional constraint has been impacted, none of us dare say we like anything when out shopping with him now because he wants to buy it and gets most upset when we say no!

You have been completely sensible about it and not relied on what you think but on what others think and have assessed your capabilities at.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Oh dear, I have spent the day definitively proving that I have forgotten more about writing sql queries than I ever knew in the first place :(

Come back excel and vba, all is forgiven...
    I think....

    Do you have Access ?

It's pretty easy to build SQL queries in that tool.

Give us a shout if you need any help. :)

Yup - did try access but the cross tab syntax is different and I wasn't trying to do a strict cross tab anyway as I wanted two sets of 'values'. Still google let me discover a row number by category function and then by joining the rownumbered table to itself I was able to find the top three authorities using each environmental note and how many notes that was and then added on a a set of case statements to do the crosstab and linked in the lookup tables, joined to a separate query that totalled all authority note use for each note and added in the parameter calls so it can be run from code in a word template each year for both note classes.....

You lost me at 'Yup'. :)

I'll have a go at bringing things back down to earth...

Momentus night chez Nikkster. Partially through laziness, mostly planned, as I'm going to a ball tomorrow night (therefore needing to properly Dress Up), I've not epilated my armpits or legs for 3 weeks. Until tonight :j I am brunette. Its not been pretty, but worth it to not have all manner of ingrown hairs.

Another good job I'm single :)

    Feel much better now!

Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Amazingly, there's already a Wikipedia page about it.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
