As I've said before, when it comes to aviation, Hamish knows more than I do on certain things, and I'll leave his opinion to that
If I disagree, I'll speak up, and generally learn something.
There are tribes that have never seen planes that know more than me about aviation.
The only thing I know about aviation is that it's better to turn left than right when getting on a plane. If you are flying to Australia and turn right then something is very, very wrong.0 -
Wasn't there some actor on crimewatch who regularly gets fingered by the public for the actual crime and has even been arrested before the police figured it out?
I have heard that. Doozer wasn't keen for that reason, regardless of being on holiday.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Life is too short for this crap.
Life is too short for the Moneysavers Arms, I think, but the thread makes an interesting read.
There is a phrase which I am sure can be adapted to apply to conspiracy theorists.
"Debating creationists on the topic of evolution is rather like trying to play chess with a pigeon — it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flies back to its flock to claim victory."Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Why is it when you sell something ebay, regardless of how much info you put in the listing, someone will always ask you the obvious.
The listing says 'dark grey' so they ask me if it is light grey or dark grey. I tell them again and they ask for another photo so they can be sure?
I put the sizes, but they still ask for them.
I explain that something is reversible and demonstrate by photogrphing two ways - so they message to ask whether it's the item in pic 1 or pic 2.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

You have a microwave already don't you? Just we mostly use a combined microwave/oven/grill to cook pretty much anything and I think that with the turntable and fan they cook very well and evenly.I think....0

PN, I've been really pleased with my mini oven. Just checked the Currys website and they don't do mine any more otherwise I'd have pointed you in that direction, but it's had about 15 months of use as my only oven (and for over half that time, for two people). Very handy. I'm still looking forward to the day I get a proper big oven again, but I'm not in any kind of a rush. My plug on hob is also still going strong (touch wood).0

One of the Crimewatch re-enactments involved a credit card. The actor naturally used his own. Some viewers apparently paused their videos, read the name on the card, and called the police. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Mine won't...it's just a bog standard microwave from the dark ages with no other function!
It's actually older than James is.....We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

This is one of life's annoyances.... everything has a short life. Always changes, updates, mutations, withdrawals .... annoying. No consistency over time.
I started by looking to compare the Mr L -v- Mr A one, as they both do them - and it seemed that every time they have them in store they're different models, with a different capacity, different wattage, different physical exterior sizes and different bits and bobs.
Most annoying.0
