All my plans went by the wayside today. We were supposed to be going to mum and dad's caravan to bring back all their stuff as they are giving up the van tomorrow, unfortunately, I think I ate something which didn't agree with me as I have been up all night with D & V.

Have now spent the entire day in bed, a rare luxury and something that would have been impossible usually but James is home for a few days and took up the slack/sorted youngest out.

Oh dear! I hope you feel better soon. Will mum and dad cope without your help?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

The idea is that we go up very early tomorrow morning.....my health permitting that is!

Does throw a bit of a curveball, James was hoping for a few hours work tomorrow and him coming with me could have an impact on this although he knows for def he has some work on Sunday.

Thankfully, their caravan is not too far down the road so it can all be done in a morning.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

In case anyone ever wondered, it's not just Britain that has a problem with cable theft. Happens en France aussi.

What makes it even worse is that I have a stupidly cheap (2.5 eur) bottle of plonk in my suitcase that I'd treated myself to for tonight. Kind of a good job I've not got a corkscrew about my person :)

Saw the new Bond movie today. It's a fine one! Lots of nods to old Bond movies, if you pay attention.

He doesn't half make the job of a spy look unattractive compared with a musician or footballer but hey ho, it makes for good viewing.

Might have had a cheeky beer. Well, it is Friiiiiidaaaaaay ;)

Fear not, made it back to blighty and chez Nikkster (had made it to London when I posted last). Le plonk est overt  Not the nicest I've ever tasted, but cheaper than the cheapest over here and still much better.

Met two friends coming off the same train in Nikksterville. Which was quite funny as none of us would usually be coming back from the big smoke, and we'd all found ourselves there for completely different reasons.

I am glad you are back in Nikksterville safely. One of my flatmates there was from a Mediterranean country and was amazed by how expensive wine was there. (Actually we'd only been in the EU for a few years and he was amazed how expensive everything was).

Hope you had a nice trip, and enjoyed the local food and drink and general joie de vivre wherever you went.

    Hi all

Tiffany's and La Costs on Madison Avenue today.

    Les Mis premier seats tonight

This NY trip was never cheap, but I'm still catching my breath.

The weather is great, that's still free right? ☺

Hope all NPS are well x

Actually after the Paris Conference weather might be very expensive.

    Glad you're having fun :)

Ma and Pa were in NY a couple of years ago. Went to a church one day and were amazed at all the security and realised it was St Patrick's day and Hilary Clinton was in the next pew.
