I am PN and I claim my 5 pounds - not only do we paint everything white but we also hang plastic bags on cupboard doors as our kitchen bin because they are quickly filled and thrown ouside and there is no lid/inside for yucky rubbish to get on or big bag to linger.

Oh yes and our annual holiday budget is about 400 quid all in.

    Shh, we'll start trends!

We do a bag a day however full and then 'double bag' it before putting it into the black wheelie bin to avoid leaks so we will hit the 'no more free supermarket bags' moment much sooner than you :(
    I think....

I was wondering whether you were going to get an incredibly complicated voice activated bin, or even build one of your own. That would have really tested your dog's aptitude.

How does a dog food storage bin differ from other storage bins?

    It comes with a scoop!!

I'll just try posting to see if I get a badge - bet I don't - obviously don't post enough. My efforts to be a woman of mystery have worked.
EDIT - Ooh - badges - but they aren't shiny...

I ordered Viva's recommended bin for £34.99. It's a great shape actually and I have the perfect spot. It will fit better than the current bin but I will use that for recycling.

I also found suitable high-up cupboard space and purchased a dog food storage bin. This means he can no longer drag 12kg bags of dog food out into the garden to rip up and eat.

He'll be asking for his dog food wrapped up in a road map next.:D

What's this about an exam question about a croc? I seem to have missed that.

Haha! I thought it was because I was on my laptop and I'd missed something happening before. I was a bit miffed at a badge for 10 posts. I'm up to 1000 now.

I should have about half of them. I feel cheated, having done most of my useful stuff years ago. I even had a little chat with Martin via DM about cheap champagne once. Long time ago when he used to post on the forums. Remember that?

edit: Oh yeah, I bet many of you do, the board having been threatened with obsoletion during the height of Sockpuppetgate.

I have a cheapo silvery plastic bin in the kitchen. I got custody of it when my ex finally moved out of the flat he stopped playing for. The matching dish drainer is m.i.a. (luckily there was a cheapo drainer left here by the students). I use carrier bags to line the bin (confuses guests no end), and generate <1bag per week on average. I have accumulated enough carrier bags to last, well, a while. I also have a collection of e.g. empty loo roll bags (a la PN). I think I should be able to avoid buying bin bags for a little while yet :o

Wonder if I've got any badges??
