£175 fine.
The uni James is at doesn't allow cars either unless the student has a disability. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
The one time to be greatful you are at Gatwick rather than Heathrow T5, whatever it is she needs to do will cost less.
Not when she's being paid to do it. She was the PF for the outbound sector, too
The price of a coffee at any airport is over the top, however.
Met my deputy for the first time in 2 years this afternoon. I usually just pick someone out the office, but this year I'm proud to say I've done it properly and got someone external in.
Just need to discover the city now💙💛 💔0 -

Mine didn't allow cars on site at all, which was fine because the metro in Moscow is brilliant.
Only problem was that I kinda needed a car for work, and couldn't afford not to work when I was studying.💙💛 💔0 -

Ditto.
I'm off camping this weekend. I @#$!ing hate camping. Crap food, not enough hygiene, uncomfortable, insect-ridden. Why would anyone want to ruin a perfectly nice field by putting a tent on it?
At least the weather is going to be good for it. 28C and sunny during the day and cool at night.0 -
I did my first degree with the Open University. I don't think they ever asked if I had a car.
I did my Masters at Warwick. From memory they permitted post grads to park on campus but not undergrads, or gave them priority. This was rather handy. It was always quieter when we were the only ones there though. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I have vowed never to camp again. The only exception to this would be if the world was truly going to end yesterday, then I may have considered it if my life depended on it. Though spending time under canvas with or without an impending Armageddon is hell either way. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Just over three years to go and we will be mortgage free. For us this is the right thing to do, especially following DH's illness a couple if years ago. We are in the process of sorting out our last ever mortgage deal. It's a funny place to be. As the LTV and capital outstanding are so low, there is no point in taking anything with an upfront fee as it works out more expensive.
Thankfully our existing supplier is one of the best in market so rates are good and no need to switch. It's strange. One of the NPT originals who no longer posts took out the same deal at the same time as we did so will also be facing similar decisions. I hope you are well treliac, wherever you are. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Good luck in the new job jelly.
It may not be inspiring, but I hope it is a more fun or pleasant working environment. I totally agree with you. No point whatsoever .... a horrid concept.
Not to mention the fact that, in the UK, the weather's most likely to be wet, so you end up battling with a grubby, muddy, wet tent to pack away in a muddy field, in a force 6 gale, when it comes to home time.
I've never done it.

Caravans ftw.
And over here the weather is either far too hot to go anywhere that doesn't have aircon or chucking it down so hard that any tent is going to be flattened in seconds.
Camping is ridiculous.0
