Despite a reputation for sport and outdoor living, Australia has one of the fattest populations on the planet. Its rate of obesity is the second-fastest growing in the world, and the fastest among women, according to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. The figures from the World Obesity Federation show Australia now has 62 severely obese people per 1,000 adults, up from 55 in 2010.

What's this about an exam question about a croc? I seem to have missed that.

Apparently the SQA exam board made the whole exam too difficult, although most of it looks like bookwork. I think the crocodile question might throw somebody in the heat of an exam, but I don't think it's particularly complicated or difficult if you keep your wits about you.

We had to turn over pretty quickly though. DH has has the preliminary work for another implant this week. He laughed so much it made his face hurt.

Be interested in feedback. Are the adverts we see saying that it all can be done painlessly in one day not to be believed?

He had a v big bone graft for this one. Last one was straightforward and pain free, this time less so. Yesterday he looked like a hamster, but only on one side. Today is better but still a bit sore.

Our dentist teaches implants and has at various times said he might specialise and only do implants. He won't do them in 1 day, my understanding from his conversation with DH is that the failure rate is higher than the way he does them.

I am sure that given that catering and non sporting disposition I would be the size of a house , so i think their weight gain reasonable.

Sorry Spirit, no recommendations here, I don't know that part of the world.

I lost my gogglebox virginity last night.

We had to turn over pretty quickly though. DH has has the preliminary work for another implant this week. He laughed so much it made his face hurt.

I have not seen gogglebox, but a freind posted this clip on fb yesterday, and both OH and I cried laughing.

    Oh, poor man!

We missed last night's. Might watch it on catch-up later.

We're going away for a few days to see family, so will"see" you all next week. We're about to take the cat to the cattery, poor old boy. DS will be here while we're away, but he works odd hours. the cattery is very good and at least I know he'll get fed at regular times!

    Look after yourselves xx

Have agood trip. Our dog usually goes for a sleepover at his best doggy friend's when we are all away, but he is now 11 and she is now 14. So this time my sister is coming to stay to doggy sit. This means cat and six bunnies are also looked after at home.

    *unreasonable grumble alert*

I keep a record of passwords in the family addressbook. Over the last year OH has booked GP/Nurse appointments and ordered repeat prescriptions online. He has changed the password, not told me, not written it down ( entirely consistent with his behavoiur towards his own passwords) I am trying to order a prescription and book appts and cannot get in. I have all the time in the world so it can wait until tomorrow- he is shooting today and we are at the theatre tonight. It has irritated me though. I know it is me, not him. I needed to express my grumpiness here to save me from moaning at him later.

Why NP should witness my petty selfishness I don't know. Sorry.

*assurance that my sense of perspective mode is now restored*
