On a personal note my PSA has gone up quite a lot, and as a result I recently had to have a digital examination. In case anyone is in any doubt, it wasn't done by computer and they weren't looking at my fingers. Very uncomfortable and undignified but the result was quite reassuring. PSA to be rechecked in a few months time.
Tell your sons this.
FIL's first PSA test was sky high and he was prioritised for scans etc. When he mentioned it to a cousin, the cousin was surprised he hadn't been told that all the males in the family have very high PSA. Would have saved needless worry, though still important to check out.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Sounds like a bloke thing from the above.PSA is a member of the kallikrein-related peptidase family and is secreted by the epithelial cells of the prostate gland. PSA is produced for the ejaculate, where it liquefies semen in the seminal coagulum and allows sperm to swim freely.

Just taken DD shopping for uniform for her new school. So much more expensive than primary school uniform! She looks very smart in it, though, or at least she will once I've taken up the sleeves of the blazer.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Don't forget to take a photo.
Thanks. I need to take her to the school and take it standing underneath the sign that says the name of the school. That's what I did for each of them starting primary school (on their actual first day of school) and for DS starting secondary school (the day before he started, because on the day he walked with the girl next door and her friend, and I wasn't allowed anywhere near the place). Once I get this one, I want a frame with space for 4 photos so I can have the set all together.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Had the meeting from hell today.
We're collaborating on the creation of materials for a conference, with others who will be at the conference. The materials have to be of equal relevance to all parties.
There were 3 parties round the table. We were pretty much on the same 'page' as one other party. However, the person who was representing the final party was a nightmare. His definition of 'collaboration' was "I have a different agenda from the rest of you because of commitments I've given elsewhere, and I will steamroller everything you say and get my own way on everything."
And he won. That element of the conference will not meet the needs of our delegates, nor meet the objectives of the conference, and he's a pr@t.
There. I feel better (slightly) now.0 -

We had a photo of DS1 with his then best mate outside best mate's front door for the first day of nursery and again for primary school. For secondary school, best mate had moved house, but we went back to old front door and asked new owner, who was amused but agreed. They kids veto'd knocking on the door again for 6th form.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Back to London tomorrow
I'm probably going to end up really homesick again, but the reality is that with all the moving around I've done in the last 20 years, I don't really have anywhere to call 'home'........💙💛 💔0 -

Sounds like the conference in Geneva I'll be in on Monday/Tuesday....
This is a case of us not caring if we make a profit on it or not, because it enhances our exposure to vital markets (much like CV building on a personal level), and others where this is the major contract for them needing to make the profit, and not using the experience from that to get further work.
One company is the worst, and the director used a job that I'd have loved to have done (and would still be doing, not just for 2 years before losing out again to someone that wasn't in the picture the first time), yet is still milking the contract for everything they can get.And he won. That element of the conference will not meet the needs of our delegates, nor meet the objectives of the conference, and he's a pr@t.

Completely unacceptable.
Assuming the rep is working for another similar company, thus trying to impress everyone here. The only answer I can give to that is that it doesn't work.💙💛 💔0
