So the good news is that the lump is the muscle hardening as a result of the radiotherapy and I can feel it better as I have lost weight.

The not so good news is that I need another CT scan and blood tests to make sure the cancer hasn't come back.

I am so pleased that you are being vigilant.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

With the weather on Sunday I'd have been in the garden with a hose, in my swimsuit.

I'd pay to see that. :)

........and I'll hold the hose! :rotfl:

If a new driver/you don't like Vauxhall, then probably a Skoda Fabia or Honda Jazz, as it should be cheap to insure, too.

I know nothing about small runarounds, as NP will probably agree when this is seen.

OH has a Skoda Fabia. It's getting a bit old now, think was about 5 yrs old when he got it. It's been great, and our DD and SiL drive from Liverpool to Abersoch in it for hols with GS3 (now age 2) and all the paraphenalia that entails as well as their luggage. So bigger than it might appear! ;) Been pretty reliable, only once had a problem which was relatively easy to get sorted at local garage in Abersoch. Unlike my Renault Grand Scenic which RAC man tried to fix but it failed on test drive so transported back to Liverpool where local garage told us there was nothing wrong with it after all! (insert roll eyes smiley here).

Good luck Gen , it sounds promising.

Bathroom finally completed :Dand looking forward to the first shower in over two weeks. You never feel clean with just a strip wash.:(

Oh for a "scrubbing one's back" emoticon :D Enjoy your long-awaited shower, bugslet!

Gen Thanks for the kind comment, which made me :o If I say nice things to you all it's because you're such nice people :)

It's already rained a bit here this morning, again.

Sun came out about 5ish here, and still out now - v pleasant evening weather. :)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I think PN means the English term for hose, not the American short form of pantyhose Wheezy ;)

Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Just catching up. Glad to hear the good news so far, Gen, and sending positive vibes for the remaining tests / results.

Re. feeling hot / cold, I had a recurring pointless conversation with Mum when I was younger. I would feel cold, and get a hot water bottle or put a jumper on or something.

She would say, "But you can't be cold".

    My reply, "But I am."

"But you can't be". "But I am."

Repeat ad nauseum until I feel suitably chastised and criticised for my body temperature :o:)

Oh. I had no idea there was another meaning for the word.... yes, definitely an English water hose, one uses to water the garden/clean the car with.

I thought there was an unexpected rush of excitement..... oops.

    D4mned perverts.....

I might have just saved you an embarassing moment on any future travels you have to the states :)

e.g PN: "I'm just nipping out to the yard for a bit of fresh air, just me and my hose"

Cue gasps from your American friends :D
