I've never been to a sporty event... nor horsey .... nor ... well anything really :)

    Swimming.

I have a modest pile of silver and not silver but pretty enough stuff for the charity shop from sparkly corner. Some is a little sad.

Realistically at past a certain age, but more importantly with very swollen feet, and never wearing cold coloured metals, the chance of me wearing toe rings again is very small. :o and all the pretty silver rings with their glowing stones.....some one else will get pleasure from. I hope.

I have kept family stuff I don't wear....the badge of a dead great great aunt I was named for, even though its worthless and not so pretty, and a funny ivory pin I never where, that sort of thing, and the odd piece of tart no one will buy from a charity shop but might be fun for a beading in a craft project one day. :)

    odd piece of tart

Is this an old relative who never married, being of the war generations, who had to make her money where she could and had herself embalmed and sliced upon death?

I've been to Goodwood once. Some corporate do with a wine wholesaler. I remember an obligation to drink...and I think there were some horses somewhere.

Why do people taunt poor Michaels in these ways? ;)

I have caffeine shakes, shakey, shakey, shakey, shakey. Feels bloody brilliant. But, I guess I won't have any more coffee today. Pretty sure I only had two mugs though.

Perhaps you and I could synchronise our shaking? I hate to see althis energy wasted. LiR and Spirit powered light bulbs anyone?

Today we had to change my physio session plan as my Right side started shaking, a quiet but steady shake not the violent teeth chattering shake I get all over or down my left side but a new type of shake. Istill weakened me enough to mean I had to sit down as standing became impossible.

Hhhhmmmmmm. What's going on Spirit. :(. I am worried about you.

I think, after I tidy the floor I have sparkly corner done apart from earrings ( for which I need fir) and rings, which I am not sure how I am doing this time.

Wall looks very bare, and I don't have the bed head ( top part) of sparkly corner done yet.

I have an aversion to gambling so I have never attended a race meeting.Even freebies could not lure me. I have seen little sport however have been to two mens final at wimbledon and a good number of other wimbledon days. also been to Roland Garros and to Eastbourne. RG is much easier to get tickets to than W, and Eastbourne has lovely atmostphere.

I have seen motor racing, but cannot remember what it was- it was a long time ago at Brands Hatch and at Silverstone.

Rugby at twickenham and at Cardiff. I could go to Cardiff just to hear the singing.

    Boat Race.

Watched Dressage, Puissance and show jumping at HOYS and Windsor.

Various Sailing events which have got to be the most boring and frustrating live sports for the shore based spectator. OH could watch the Americas cup heat that is taking place this week but as he says you get a better view on television.

As a girl I watched greyhound racing and speedway.

No idea, seeing a GP on Friday. It is not infection based and nothing showed up on MRI when I had my stroke. It predates my stroke as it started about a year ago.

Bfore Physio changed exercise plan this morning we had been working in the main sitting room as a friend had turned up and we left them in the kitchen stting room wher I usually
work with physio. On kneeling on the floor in a four point exercise I could really see just how dirty the rug is. It is covered in fine dog hair and flecks of fluff, grubby bits etc. It looks quite ground in. I was really embaressed.I cant sort it in an MSE way as the carpet cleaner is too heavy for me to use. Looks like I will need to find a cleaning firm. If this rug is like this I wonder what I would see if I looked closely at other rugs and upholstery. All manky I expect. Icant even hoover it today as hoover is upstairs and I cannot carry it down.
