I have access to most supermarkets as they are either in my town or where I work, but what is a Farmfoods and should I seek one out? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

It is like Iceland but without Kerry Katona.0 -
Thanks chewy. I am not bothered with Iceland as it is full if preprepared trash, so not too fussed if Farmfoods is the same.
Plus I only have a fridge freezer that's not that big. Once it has a bag oven chips and a healthy supply of Magnums in, there's not much room for anything else. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? A question for lir because like me she gets rosacea, as well as the other nice ladies... Have you tried micellar water cleanser? I bought a cheap Nivea one and it has been an absolute revelation. Not only is it gentle enough to use on my skin, it cleans deeper than anything else I've used and isn't packed full of chemicals. I still use a moisturiser in addition, but that goes further too. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? We're getting one soon too
We did have one in the town centre a few years ago, but they had a tiny car park (think space for about 8 cars!) and a fair walk from the multi-storey, so they were never very busy and closed after a couple of years. The one that's opening later this year is on the site of a big car showroom so will have quite a big car park :j
Viva I use micellar water too now. I bought a bottle of the "Simple" one as it was on offer, then when that was all gone I bought a bottle of Garnier for sensitive oily/combination skin, because that was on offer. I did wonder if it would be okay, as I have rosacea and sebhorreic (sp) dermatitis, but it seems fine.0 -

No, but I've been thinking of trying. Would probably pick a different brandbut have read good things. I was toying with the idea of buying some this weekend and you've just convinced me! Thanks

My skin is very sensitive and tends to be inflamed - I might try this. Do you use it morning and night? I don't wear make up so no need to remove that.
Yes, morning and night, but sometimes at other times too... It's quite nice on a hot day to cool your face down as it us very gentle so you don't need to moisturize straight after.
I bought Nivea because it was for sensitive skin and cheap... I tend to buy a £2 bottle of anything half expecting to chuck it away, or if it's good, look for something with same ingredients, but maybe a bit better. But this has been fantastic. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Yeah - the only way I would think of describing it would be like Iceland. I think they sometimes have good offers on things though.
I have an Iceland-related confession (apologies if I've already shared).
A few weeks ago I tried one of their Chicken Tikka Lasagnes
I'd been intrigued about this culinary concept since probably Ms Katona brought it to my attention (i.e. years ago).
Then I got some Iceland cashback offer through one of my bank accounts, so I thought it was time.
It wasn't as offensive as I thought it might be. I've not rushed back for more (curiosity now satisfied), but it was pretty ok (for a frozen lasagne).
I felt very classy that evening0 -

We can be snooty about Iceland and let's face it, it's pretty easy, but they were the only large chain not caught up in the horsemeat thing AFAIK.
The last month or so has been a horrible winter but the BOM (Met Office) has promised that we have a week or so left until it's all over and we're into spring again thankfully.
Winter is unpleasant in the southern parts of Australia, largely because we're not set up for it. At least in the UK there are plenty of warm places to go to warm up again.
Last week I was stuck on the train with the air con on full when it was about 6C outside. I'd been a bit untogether so didn't have a coat or even a suit jacket. Brrrrrrr.
It's funny here how they manage to do a fairly decent job of long range forecasting at the BOM. The economists are still crap though.0
