Just heard from Josh (I had to contact him).
The food is bad, the hotel ok, the weather hot!
He performed last night but due to a combination of exhaustion and dehydration, had an almost collapse and a stonking headache afterwards. Luckily my teaching (ok nagging) him about things, he knew what to do and he was ok.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Get a goat PN. They'll eat anything.
b) It'd make it look like a gypsy camp - and my house price would drop.
Maybe there's a business to be had from "Rent a Goat". Goat delivered, checked OK daily, removed.... but then you get on to costing and realise it's a non-starter as it'd be too expensive, so nobody'd want one0 -
Pastures The gutter-clearing cost £31.50, which included a discount for telling the agency, when we registered, that we'd heard of them through an ad in the local free paper.
It hadn't been done for ages, and OH managed to do it himself last time. He wouldn't be safe on a high ladder these days - I worry about him enough on a step-ladder
Sue Poor old Josh! Glad he remembered what to do.0 -

Cheers.
I hate ladders. I just (finally) went up mine to remove my up/down hallway (blown) bulbs to check they are the (can't buy in the shop, cost £12 each + P&P) BC3 style - and they are.
While wobbling up the ladder and imagining all manner of electrical shortcircuits whilst gripping onto the socket .... I was wondering how many weeks it'd be before anybody came to check for me as I'd not been seen/wasn't answering the phone.
Before doing this sort of thing, I always unlock a door "just in case".0 -
It's as though Aldi are reading the NPT. On sale from today, there's bug bats for lir, sunscreens for me, furry treatments just in case for PN and a whole host if other useful repellents.
ETA... should read fly screen not sunscreen. Bloomin auto correct. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

If they are reading this, I'd like to know when they are pulling their finger out and opening a shop near me. They got permission in 2008 and have sat on it!0 -

Asda's another one. They are 6 miles away, but they were going to open up here..... 2 miles away - they've dilly dallied all this time. It's all ready to go ...all they have to do is build it!
Morrisons also wanted a place, but then Asda said "If they come, we'll not build our planned shop".
It's simply not fair
The trouble is, I spend so little on food that it doesn't make economic sense to travel far for it.0 -
Finally, after all these years, DH and I have finally bought our first bed together! Its second hand mind you.....19th century. Eventually it will go in a guest room. Its smaller than the one we have now, but nicer we think. ( and easier to make). I think its a standard double.0

Where do I get the bloke to operate the bug bat?Doozergirl wrote: »We have one and are getting another!
Aldi have also applied for planning permission for their second store here too. We could do with an Asda instead, then 'Bingo' - we'd have the full set.0
