Party for 45 six and nine year-olds survived, mostly thanks to the other mums rallying round. I know the venue did half the work by providing the entertainment (soft play centre) but the other half of getting together food and party bags (as well as doing the school run and cooking and eating tea) made for a very full afternoon. Still two large kids parties in 10 days done so no more needed for a while.I think....0

Has anyone else been watching 'Married at first sight' on Ch4? Can't believe we've got to wait another week for the next episode
I so want the couples to work out.

It is rather! Good Morning GDB
Sue are you doing okay? I hope you didn't stay awake worrying all night
Soooo happy, we were finally able to get a man to come and clear our gutters. It was only the back one that was blocked, but the pigeons were using it as a birdbath, flapping and splashing joyously just above DS's bedroom window. No more
Nah, slept like a baby :rotfl:
He arrived safely and the last I heard, they were heading off for a spot of lunch.....he performed tonight on the beach, or was supposed to be doing so, no idea if they did or not as he is a man of few words or contact with home!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Yes me.
Its really fascinating. I really want it to work too. I think there are things in its favour, that they all are actively wanting something to work, that they seem like nice people.
I really liked the bearded chap, trying to put his blonde bride at ease, blushing a fair bit, joking. Making sincere eye contact. Though they seem much less comfortable than the other couple I hope they shine through.0 -
^^ Exactly what you said.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

My head is clear enough tonight to enjoy music. Late junction is offering just what the head doctor might have ordered. When its good late junction is good. Its wasn't hitting the mark when I turned on, but is getting progressively better. I'm hoping fir lets me keep it on a while if it stays good.0

I think both couples have a huge amount of potential. Definitely dealing with the situation differently.
I'd be a little concerned about being matched with someone the same rather than complementary (well, if specifically talking about me I think it would be terrifying and not good). But mainly I also hope they shared the details of the couple that dropped out last week, seems such a shame if they didn't.0 -
Heavy, heavy rain here and a not significant amount of electrical activity. Have lost half of my tv channels so wonder if a transmitter has been hit. Last time we had a big storm I had no phone and limited broadband for five days. Unusual by British standards but nothing by Aussie ones. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

There is an invisible mosquito in my room. Leaves it just the right amount of time between noises to cause me to finally relax, then it starts again so I freak out, arms flailing.
I think slowly releasing individual mosquitos into sealed room would make an excellent form of torture.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
