Tomorrow I am mostly cleaning a cooker.....my rental cooker is being returned and I am having a new cooker (not rented) fitted.

Boys think I am mad, cleaning a cooker so that it looks brand new (slight impossibility, it is over 10 years old) for them to just dispose of it because it is old and knackered.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

As a geek project my banister now lights up if somebody passes the top/bottom so don't even need to use the stairs lights most of the time now.

Like a runway landing lights strip - cool :D

usually I am a fairly calm person...

What a horrid episode; glad to hear you successfully calmed yourself down but PA are awful and real at the time.

All the best for today and Monday, Maggie :)

Shock of the morning, "nice neighbours" have got their house up for sale! They bought the same week I did. Just seen it on RM.

Maybe they don't think so much of the neighbours:D.

I know it sounds odd, but they built a conservatory and I always figured "bet that makes your living room dark" as both sides are solid/plastic - plus, the recent spell of hot weather probably finished them off. I bet they found themselves sweltering in a cave for a week and thought "s0d it"

I think it's seriously overpriced though, compared to what else you can get for the money within a mile.... so they'll probably be there sometime. House+conservatory and 22% more than bought for.

No idea how much conservatories cost.... just "the usual" sort, 9' x 10' at a guess.
