Yeah if you're structuring financial transactions or products then things are a bit more complicated as you can't just get away with reporting concerns about the source of the funds if you are intrinsically involved in assisting a client in structuring something which turns out to be itself fraudulent or is part of the laundering of criminal proceeds.

So of you have a private client dept or are asked to recommend conveyancing etc and have a money laundering dept and have suspicions then it might not directly concern your work but...

Might separate some from others of course.

Hmm. That's probably the worst thing to do.

Imagine it was someone else suffering an anxiety attack. Would you say that to them? Think about what you might say to someone else and remember to treat yourself with that kindness.

No digging deep required, just an acceptance of the feeling, an appreciation that the threat isn't real (although worrying it's a heart attack is a concern) and a talking to yourself in the way that you would talk to someone you loved. No pulling together or digging deep. We talk to ourselves in ways that we'd never dream if taking to others..

Not sure if you're allowed beta blockers with your recent conditions? It does make the phyical sensations stop within a numberof minutes. The head stuff triggering it needs sorting. Anxiety is debilitating, you don't need any more of that.

I believe that sometimes you travel further with kick up the Ar5e than a pat on the back. With others I would use my judgement and emotional intelligence to choose the approach, whereas with myself i always go straight for the kick. :(
It has been a one off episode so will mention it to GP when I see him (next appt is mid August) but not looking for more medication .the Trigger does need sorting. i know that now, and can fully understand why Mrs gen took Gen to Hosp when he had his attack. Mr Spirit was very worried. DD said this morning that she had wanted to call an ambulance. i cannot do that to them again as I do enough real stuuf that scares them without letting anxiety create crises.

I move back to doozer's bench here, Its real. Just because its not something you need a bypass for doesn't mean its not real.

Comeon darling, you have been through a HELL of a lot this year, its going to bring up all stress full triggers. Yes, sort them out, it seems a good time to, doesn't it? :D

Would you suggest I came of my pill for struggling as its not as real as my pills for the physical things in my head?

I guess you lot are at work but this evening (here) watching the Tour de France is lovely.

I really miss living in Europe (incl. UK) sometimes.

They're gonna be caught, and Degenkolg will win the stage FYI

You reckon? It's all up and down today with a nasty climb to the finish. I think he's too heavy for this stage.

It's one of those funny ones that isn't for the climbers or the sprinters probably, especially if the wind gets up (I notice that we've had several diagonal positions across the road as the race gets close to the coast).

Gallopin might be in with a chance. Perhaps even Cav as he seems to have (had?) the legs for a short climb before the end.

I'd like to see the winner come from the breakaway but it never seems to happen. Almost never anyway.

Thanks for the info michaels and Percy (michaels obviously realised that someone who had no idea what PIR meant was quite likely to say "What's a passive infrared sensor?" :D though to be fair I would have worked it out)

Oh dear Pastures, so sorry to hear latest furry news :(

So glad you feel better today Spirit (nearly changed your name to Spitir there, I can't seem to hit the keys in the right order today.

I hope the system will let me post this; it wouldn't a few minutes ago for some reason.

    ETA Oh good, it did.
