Doozer, re Pastures' lights, is the wiring the same once you remove the ceiling rose? I was just thinking if it is, it's a relatively straightforward job for a competent DIYer or handyman, and may be worth asking the neighbours if any have changed theirs. Aren't cheap ceiling roses about £2 each from Screwfix? Just thinking with the right person cheap and easy...
Secretly hoping that the neighbour who helped with smoke detector could do similar. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Chewy, thanks for the post about Russian money in London, I found it really interesting. Now that the gorgeous twins are her I'm sure you won't have time, but a second job as a financial journalist could beckon otherwise. You write well and explain complex areas very clearly and simply. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Spirit, hope you feel a bit better this morning, can you go to gp for peace of mind? Oddly I was at mine yesterday as I had something going on in my chest, turns out I've pulled a muscle in my chest, but my point being that she was extremely reassuring and an excellent first point of call.
I picked a good day to go to London! Our next project is a 4 storey house in Chelsea. I've only seen the outside so far; can't postpone.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Told myself to pull myself together and need to dig deep to reinstall my resilience. Bit of a ramble.
Hmm. That's probably the worst thing to do.
Imagine it was someone else suffering an anxiety attack. Would you say that to them? Think about what you might say to someone else and remember to treat yourself with that kindness.
No digging deep required, just an acceptance of the feeling, an appreciation that the threat isn't real (although worrying it's a heart attack is a concern) and a talking to yourself in the way that you would talk to someone you loved. No pulling together or digging deep. We talk to ourselves in ways that we'd never dream if taking to others.
Anxiety is horrible. Mindfulness classes would be helpful to help manage those moments and it sounds like some councilling for what triggered that fear.
Not sure if you're allowed beta blockers with your recent conditions? It does make the phyical sensations stop within a numberof minutes. The head stuff triggering it needs sorting. Anxiety is debilitating, you don't need any more of that.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Can you access a folding bike? 5 miles should be just about doable if there's a shower at the other end.
I am simply too scared to ride a bike in Central London!
I just got a train half an hour earlier than normal and walked along the river to monument station and got the DLR from bank. It was a nice sunny morning if a little chilly so a pleasant enough stroll and only took about 25 mins. Was at my desk at the normal time- office is a ghost town!0 -
