I've just ordered a new big box of vibes, just for you - so I don't run out!
Lol, careful before michaels sees that :T
I'm always logged in I think, when checking my web based emails and stuff, it doesn't mean I come through, just that the tab comes up when I open the Internet.
But yes, I have been sleeping a lot. I just shut down into sleep. Fir managed to massage my feet without me waking up once even to be happy about it over the weekend, though they feel lovely and soft now..

Quick - someone quote it before PN can edit/ delete the post0 -
Well, that's annoying ....
Since I moved in, the upstairs lightbulb's not worked on the landing; I've assumed it's one of those odd 3-pin energy saving bulbs and I know you can't just pop out and buy those, so I didn't get round to it. I trot up/down with just the downstairs light on.
Just coming down the stairs and "POP!" ... out went the downstairs light and the mains tripped. Tried the kitchen light - nothing. Got my torch out, peeked, flicked the switch labelled "lighting", checked the kitchen and that's working.
So, I now have no bulbs in the hallways/on the stairs.
As a building reg, with builders putting those odd bulbs on the landings/stairs usually, they're really a life/limb risk when they blow and shops don't stock them.0 -

Lir, have missed you loads and hope all goes well next week. Not sending you a big box of vibes though! Sorry Pastures, my eyes are watering from laughing so much at that one. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

It would definitely be a distraction...
PN, is it worth getting an electrician round to replace the light fitting with something more conventional? I think the convenience would more tan make up for the expense.0 -

The FT had a bee in its bonnet regarding the blatant use of London property for money laundering purposes a while back. As someone who has presented AML courses and has had AML training every year since 1995 it's pretty shocking the obvious and complete disregard for AML in the property market and the lack of any desire of the FCA to do anything about it.
The last time I did training in the UK on AML the maximum penalty for not reporting a suspicion of money laundering was an unlimited fine and 14 years in Sing Sing.
Stick a few of the shiny suited beggurs in gaol for an extended game of 'where's the soap' and they might start to take it seriously.
The Sydney property market is similarly used to launder Chinese funny money. You can't take enough money out of China to buy a Sydney property so basically every cash purchase by a Chinese resident in Sydney is likely to be laundering money. The best part is AML rules don't apply to property transactions in Aus!!!0
