Eek, Spirit!
I'm very glad you're home. It's an absolute wonder what they can do now and they make it look easy.
Take care of yourself, I know DH and DD will see that it happens.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I have had better weeks.
I had a heart attack on Sunday and spent the week in hospital. Had angioplasty yesterday and 3 stents, it seems one of my grafts had blocked.
I had the mildest feeling in my chest on sunday, but knew it was odd and given my recent history was not waiting for it to gt worse. Dialled 111, Emergency ambulance arrived in minutes, no obvious signs of MI but a troponin test showed raised levels so It was confirmed.
home this afternoon.
Will catch up on thread later.

How do you feel now?
I think ihave access to good hospitals. the week before the cqc wrote that the Hosp I was admitted to needed improvement in its ED service.totally misleading as for all the stuff that matters when you are seriously ill it was excellent, just as it was with my stroke.
i was originally on the table ready for the procedure on Weds but a problem was spotted. The Cardiologist asked me what I wanted to do and i said I wanted him to do whatever he would want for his wife if she was in ths predicament. So he said goback to ward and start again on Thursday.
i feel medically well but still sedated and as I am very cool about these episodesI would describe my self as relaxed.
just dont want anything else now. Cardiologist said this was lucky as i headed off a disaster.0 -
I'm sorry to hear your news Pastures
I've spent the last 2 days (well, yesterday evening and until 2pm today) helping family of a neighbour clear the property out. He's moved into a care home, and whilst I didn't really see him since we've been living here, he seemed a genuinely nice bloke.
Another neighbour passed away early yesterday morning, so it's a sad week on the street💙💛 💔0 -

Truly wonderful news, or at least truly wonderful considering how it could have been. And brilliant that you acted so decisively.
I hope I'm not sounding too much like Pollyanna, but this does seem like a good outcome. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Goodness Spirit  So glad you're okay and have been well looked after again.
PN thinking of you x0 -

Thanks Viva, I can even pretend we are going for the kids education and not just cos I am the sort of geek who finds that stuff fascinating.
I never carry any cash, not even an emergency tenner, mostly because any cash I do have gets appropriated within days.
No worries. It's ages six and up. I think yours are old enough now aren't they? The other place offering tours for NPs who may be interested is Rugely, which is on Tues. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
