  • On saturday i booked a great deal for a business class flight via an agent but their payment system wouldnt process my card. I got a confirmation email stating business class and the price and was requested to ring asap (mon-fri) to complete.

Upon calling I was told there was no such offer and that i had to pay full price. However, I have a confirmation stating what i have been sold/promised but they are refusing to honor the deal now.

What are my rights? And what can I do? We stand to lose these flights that were already booked by others in our group at the offer price.

  • I didn't see a reference to it in the article, but I think it may be worthwhile recommending students and people under 26 to check out STA Travel online after finding flights on the scrapers. I've done it a couple times and found a young persons fare for at least £10 less, often £20+ on long haul. The flights are usually exactly the same airlines and timings as found on something like Kayak.

Does anyone know if prices next year on the whole will be similar to next this year or higher or lower?
Also I would suggest that people use http://www.liligo.co.uk/
We went to South America this year and it was (for not a nice flight) cheaper than all the others
  • I booked a flight on myfly for a Turkish Airlines flight today Sunday 17. and found out after I paid that the baggage allowance is 3 kg going out and 0kg coming back.

You need to look at the terms and conditions, however I doubt it. I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Oh come on - its a wind up surely. No airline in the world has 0kg baggage allowance!
And Turkish airlines is not Ryanair. They will have a lot more than 0kg and 3kg!
  • Just out of interest, why is https://www.google.co.uk/flights/ not included in any of the cheap flight finding guides on here? It seems to be incredibly quick, have more options than other sites, and AFAIK is the only service to include official Ryanair data, rather than those other dodgy sites which do things like void your ticket. Plus, you can easily bookmark results, eg: http://goo.gl/DFKZFd - took me under a minute to find a £43 round trip inc taxes to Barcelona from London.

Perhaps it doesn't have enough airlines of there's another reason it's not listed, but seeing as it includes Ryanair, it seems a bit of an omission to not at least have it listed as an option.

  • Right then.......

I need a web site that can track flight prices for a trip to canary island but I'm quite flexible on the dates ( within a weeks window). In addition, I am also flexible on the airport to fly from.........

All I want is an email every time a new flight arises or when prices change. I don't need to fly til April 2015 so any advice on when prices should be at their lowest would be great e.g. Am I best booking now or a few days before? ( there are 4 of us)

    Help......
  • Hi there, I was wondering if anyone at all could tell me if flights to Paris CDG from Newcastle in July have any chance of being reduced. 3 weeks ago they were £134pp now they've jumped up to £190pp. Wish I'd booked earlier ones but too late now. I know sometimes prices fall and was just curious before I book up now in case of any more increases. Any info greatly appreciated. ;)
