    Good Split Weather info http://www.split.climatetemp.info/

Perhaps hire a car from Dubrovnik airport or fly indirect on https://www.lufthansa.co.uk

  • Just booked flights to the Algarve for a Hen Party and stupidly did not check for any vouchers at the start!

Save £10 on every flight with the code 2012SALE or follow the Offers link on their website homepage.

Dont miss out like I did!
  • Have been looking for flights for one adult, one child from UK (anywhere between Glasgow and maybe Birmingham but NOT London) to Boston, Massachusetts and found all kinds but as soon as I click it, the price shoots up. I know there's taxes to add on and that's fair enough, I allow for that, but where does the £100-250 of random extra cost come from?! Then trying to use comparison sites, they're trying to tell me there are no flights to Boston for the entire of summer!

We want to go anywhere between may 29th and july 30th for 3-4 weeks. Don't care when or where from as long as it isn't London or further south. Can anyone suggest a good site? or a good way to go about it? or something I'm doing wrong that means the flights aren't coming up?

2014 wins: maternity/nursing pillow, Magnum chocolate, baby stroller, Baileys cupcakes
Took a break while I moved country (twice).
    2018 wins:£400 meal for 4, Clipper tea
    2019 wins: flight voucher

So they've cancelled my Friday flight & moved to the next day.

Small print says I can get my money back but I've booked accomodation and can't find cheaper flights. Is there any entitlement to compensation given I'm loosing a day (& a half) of my holiday?

I guess this is in the small print, but how is this ok?!!!!

    I'm really annoyed.

    Thanks.

Badly researched, ignores important information about Trunki for example.

Anyway, I have found 1 tool that appears to be unique on the 'net:

    - you are planning a trip from UK to somewhere in Europw
    - but have no idea which is the optimal airport to fly from, to fly to, and use a budget no frills carrier.

So you need an 'overview' planner just to locate the airports & airlines.
Merely Googling just brings up 100s of flight comparison sites that don't even include the real cheapies.

    Solution: Flightmapping

Seems to default to 'from' UK, click a country and then get a Flash-based app that pops up the point-to-point routes as you hover the mouse over the map of Europe. On locating the route, click on the airport at one end of it and the Airline list comes up.

It even includes fast rail/Eurostar routes.

    Example: UK-France
    http://www.flightmapping.com/maps/europe/france

I haven't found a better site for this purpose yet!

(I might repeat this post on it's own thread for more visibility, if a search reveals it's not already been discussed on MSE).
