I know this is slightly broadening the subject but my wife and I and a friend bought phones last year through e2save and were promised twenty pounds for recommending a friend as pushed heavily in "Greg's" weekly e-mail. Unfortunately the promises came to nothing and eventually I gave up aswe had got good deals on the phones, but i was a bit narked at the time0

I've heard of people having quite a few problems with e2save or shoudl that be ere2con0 -
Hi,
grateful if an E2Save representative could contact me through this board - I believe I am in the same position as many others having send in the 3rd bill (which is pretty unambigious to me - so I am not sure where the confusion is stemming from).
Thanks0 -
I would just like to add that I too am in the same situation. I orderd my sim the end of April. First bill came at the beginning of May, second in June and the third in July.. Obviously this July bill was the one I was waiting for to send in for my cashback claim. However just before I sent it I found out that I had been misled and that they in fact considered the June bill to be the third. This is totally outrageous! I sent them both the June and July bills (photocopies) in by recorded delivery with a covering letter explaining to them how confusing the system was and asked them to accept whichever bill was needed. I got text messages (2 - probably as I had sent in 2 bills) informing me they had received my claim but as yet I have heard no more. From reading the above posts, I am forever hopeful that I (and everyone else in the same boat) will get their cashback deservedly so.
Also I do not wish to ring an 0871 number to sort this problem out so is there any other means of doing this?
I would appreciate it if an e2Save representative could contact me via private message regarding my situation. Thankyou0 -
This isn't limited to the 6 month deals, I signed up for a 12 month deal in January, got my first bill in February and my 6th in July (which was the first one they wanted to claim)
They then say they want the June bill because I signed up in January, but by then the 30 days since I got my June (5th) bill had passed.
I sent the July one anyway, so I'll see if they pay up.0 -
Had exactly same problem as others - told that what I thought was 3rd bill wasn't. Called and got through after 15 mins, asked to fax last bill which I did along with proof that this WAS my 3rd bill. Yet to hear back. Very cross that they seem to be so slippery.0

I have a similar 12 month deal and am approaching the 5th bill (in the 6th month) that would potentially be the bill they seem to be wanting as opposed to the 6th bill received. I think I will send the 5th bill to see what happens.ummm...0 -
Well my situation isn't quite the same as everyone elses but still a Virgin deal with e2save. The contract started last summer but unbeknown to me they had sent out a PAYG sim card and my contract should have been monthly. As a consequence I've had to spend hours on the phone explaining and arranging my own new sim card with virgin because e2save says that was my job as the contract is with Virgin not them.
Between them the dispatch depot and the cash-back team wouldn't even communicate with each other to correct their mistakes on my behalf.
The delay in getting my new sim has now completely messed up my cash back deal ( as expected ) , to try and avert these problems the cash back team put notes on thier PC but to be honest no one reads it and my cash backs are being rejected until I protest and show them proof of their errors. This involves lost of mailing recorded delivery , copying and letters etc and is really exhaust now.
For those that dont know e2save is a part of the CARPHONEWAREHOUSE make of that what you will. Lets hope that e2save will realise that some of these amazing offers can cause more damage than good.0 -
