Still not clear on whether they want physical bill numbers (3rd, 6th etc) or the bill you have after 3, 6... months have passed? Although they seem to have acknowledged that there is confusion they still havent said what is the correct method?ummm...0

Would just like to add my name to the growing list of unhappy customers!
I've had the same problem as everyone else here and have just faxed my 3rd bill to them today, but from the sounds of things they actually wanted the 2nd - what a swizz! Was quite happy with the deal until now and like many others was thinking of using them again after the deal was up but unless they start to look after their customers, I - like many others - won't bother!0 -
It would seem I have also been caught out by this deal (scam).
Sim card arrived 27/4, first bill dated 17/5, second 8/6, third 8/7. The third bill arrived 16/7 I posted my claim 17/7 it was delivered 18/7. I then recieved a letter dated 1/8 telling me it was recieved after the claim period. I think this is all rather harsh considering the instuctions on how to claim that were given, they seem do have been deliberately misleading. I'm not a happy chap0 -
Just phoned the 0845 number and a nice lady told me I'ts all a mistake caused by the 6 month cash back offer period. The deals are usually 12 or 18 months and there system is having trouble handling the 6 month ones. That's her story not mine. The good news is my money should be with me in 15-21 days. I feel a little guilty for posting, but only a little !0

Don't feel guilty - this "mistake" has only been admitted this week since Martin got on the case.
Prior to this we were told "tough".0 -
hi just a quick question to dod.
did you have to send them another copy of your bill?i was told that i had to and it can not be sorted till i get them the bill, although they did admit that they were wrong.
also the man told me that even though the system says to send september,DONT and send OCT?????? wheres the sense.which one is the right month???0 -
I was also asked to send in another copy of the bill. As I didn't take a photocopy, I was advised to ring Virgin to request another copy. I said that as I had sent the original bill recorded delivery and they admitted that they had destroyed that bill, I didn't see why I should send another. The lady said she needed it to check my name and address was correct against the telephone number and to make sure I wasn't in arrears. I argued that the claim letter had rejected my claim because it was out of time, nothing to do with arrears etc. After keeping me on hold and speaking to someone else, she came back and agreed to process payment without me sending another bill.
Hope this helps.0 -
All of the e2Save cashback deals are the same and are deliberately confusing (I suspect that this is how they make their money).
In my case I received my phone on 30th November 2006 followed by my 1st Airtime bill dated 2nd December 2006.
1) The on-line ‘HelpDesk’ section for ‘How do I claim my chequeback advised me to post in my 6th airtime bill
2) The on-line “Which monthly bills will I need to send in?” advised me to post in my May 2007 bill.
Eventually after several letters, e2Save eventually provided written confirmation that the month in which you receive the phone is considered to be month1; so my first physical airtime bill received on 2nd December is deemed to be my second. I therefore had to post in my 2nd April bill.
Confused? I was!0 -

If you have submitted a claim for the “Virgin sim only 6 month cashback offer” and your claim has been rejected as a late bill please call our cashback team on 0871 522 3403 where one of the team will manually check your claim.
