Just send it recorded delivery, I have sent stuff to a P.O Box and it got signed for as the post office will hold it in a special section until signed for.
Cheers mate, sent it recorded and it got signed for...
Now just got to hope they don't try telling me that I sent them the wrong bill.

has any one got a None 0871-will-ripped-you-off-while-ur-on-hold number? for their cashback queries number ? ringing this one 01270 504440, but its not working ?
ive got a letter saying ive sent my cashback claim in to early, they should stop Deleteing/removing the Dates from the cashback claims login site, cheeky bugs0 -
Actually I love them doing that. I always copy it so that one day I WILL present it it court. Thus far the've been wise enough to avoid the need. If you know what you're doing there is no need to call them. Provided your claim IS right an email and LBA before court action is far better than wasting your time and expense on chasing them by phone.0

Hi, I hope I am not too late, my problem is:
contract taken out in the middle of January, sent the 3rd mon bill, which was according to my understanding the 3rd bill I have received in April. No cashabck, they said I have sent it TOO EARLY, they received it on 4th April.... they suggested next time, I should send my 6th bill, and they said my June bill a bit later....??? What to do, anyone can help?
I am sorry but if they meant the March bill, then why would it have been too early?
And if it is the bill they meant, then why is it too early?
2 months on, I didn`t receive any cashback, also when I first called I told them I lost the proof of the recorded delivery so said they couldn`t find anything from me.
Second time (After I found it) they said I was too early, and I should send my June bill after the middle of the month....
I would appreciate some ideas as to what to tell them when I call them next time, many thanks.0 -
Also, now that my contract is about to finish, can you recommend any trustworthy cash back deal? Or shall I just pay for what I am using?
Thanks.0 -
You are not too late to sue.
Don't waste time and money calling them.

Basically I took out a 6 month sim only deal which was 6 months free on 31st March 2008 for 300 mins and 300 texts. The order was fulfilled on 1/4/08 and the paperwork I was sent said sweet FA about the cashback. I recalled it was a single claim at around month 4, but stupidly I forgot to take a screen print at the time.
anyway i looked it up a couple of days ago on their website using the help and support section and it said single cashback of £120 on sending in 6th Airtime bill. I thought maybe I had got it wrong so I called them up. Eventually after 5 calls to 5 different numbers I was told that the cashback was in 2 stages at 3 and 6 but not based on the 3rd bill and 6th but on the 3rd and 6th bill after my intial bill which was produced several days aftet I signed up.
The tariff and variation matched the infor on the website- VS20 and variation W6MF which provided the differing info, When I pointed out it was different on the website i was told that the info provided to me re the two cashabcks was what the account stated implying this was correct.
Does anyone have a screen print which shows the details of the cashback at the time (31st March or 1 April 2008 on the 300 mins and 300 texts tariff.
Also what can I do- should I issue an LBA due to the change in terms or as nothing has yet been breached am I stuffed.
I would welcome your views and would ask anyone else who bought at this time to carefully check their details.Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -
I took up the contract at roughly the same time as you. But i'm going to send in the fourth bill. this is the second time i'm doing this contract and it's always been month 4 on the 6 month contract. I send in a letter and proof of my number switch along with my foruth bill.0

@ Del Boy Gupta...
PM me your e-mail address, I have all the screen prints you'll ever need.. (as long as it was CPW and not e2save).
I was on the same contract, took it out early Jan and claimed by sending in the fourth bill.

Were you told by the CPW cowboys that the claim was at month 6?
Can others confirm that for Virgin sim only deal for 300 mins and 300 texts that the claim was definately 4 months.(and I presume 4th airtime bill and not 4th bill after the intial bill?)
i say ths because in January it was to send in your 4th bill but the 300 mins 300 text option wasn't available. That was introduced by them in February by which point it became send in the 6th bill (according to their website)Mark Hughes' blue and white army0
