I've been married 29 years and OH has text me 5 times today but it's dull boring things about rearranging delivery, what food he is making for tonight!:rotfl::rotfl: Yesterday he was out biking with friends and I had a good morning text as I was asleep when he left and then a few throughout the day of pictures of where he was, checking I was okay etc.

Typically we text each other through out the day sometimes mundane, other times because we are thinking of each other.

Thats good Well it early stages but who knows i like this girl and gonna keep seeing her for now but no reply yet. not a big deal if she don't get back to me...

I will keep my options open and if she flakes on me o well her loss.....

but seems like once the date is sorted she will hardly text me and save all the talking till we meet up...

Not gonna text her & wait till she texts me (Might text her wed) as if she truly interested in me she will get back to me to double check about the date.... but we will see what happens & go from there

I might be a bit of a killjoy but if I was in love I'd want to text/phone call/date as much as possible.

Where love is concerned I suppose with me theres no 'taking it slow' or I'd get pretty damned confused.

I'd book a hotel suite up for the night and then you will see if she is into you or not, I also think the rather lapse contact towards you could be that she is already with someone and maybe hedging her bets for all you know.


In any event booking a hotel may give you the proof required obviously at a time that suits both of you and if she cannot arrange a night away then this should set alarm bells ringing.


For me a 3rd/4th date should entail a whole lot more than kissing but maybe I just move fast or find easy women, Still suppose some people are more old school than me.

Feels like she not overly interested & only see me as a friend or not ready to date. But her loss not being messed about

Sorry but that would send me running for the hills. It would make me think he was only after one thing! Its ok if you know each other well and theres been lots of communication but if you don't and there hasnt I'd panic!

Really?? I'd be interested to know what age brackets you guys are in. I had no idea there was a rule regarding what date you are expected to sleep with someone by!!
